Food is made to order in this classic dairy bar. The burgers looked great but we opted for chicken strips. Everything came out piping hot with fries, gravy and Texas toast.\n\nStrips were flavorful and well cooked. Nothing much to say about the crinkle fries except that they need seasoning. \n\nSteady line of people coming in and out. The staff was friendly and helpful.
When first approaching the restaurant, it's definitely questionable. But this place is considered in my opinion a diamond in the rough. The food was fantastic and significantly better than my expectations. We got 2 gt burgers, fries, and cheese sticks. Fries are salt yourself which my kids and I like. I highly recommend giving this place a try. There is a drive thru as well perfect for an easy grab and go.
Spent some time today in Benton, Arkansas searching for some of the filming locations for Billy Bob Thornton's, Sling Blade. Some places are no longer around, but we did see the house, the laundry mat, and the diner where Carl (Billy Bob Thornton) and Vaughan (John Ritter) ate Garry's Sling Blade Drive In.
