Blu Fish Market stands out as one of Bentonville's most reliable destinations for high-quality seafood. The moment you walk in, the freshness of the selection is immediately apparent—clean displays, vibrant color, and none of the off-putting odor that often betrays lesser markets. Their variety is impressive for a landlocked region, offering everything from everyday staples to specialty cuts you rarely find outside coastal cities. What truly elevates the experience, however, is the staff. They're knowledgeable without being pushy, ready to explain origins, provide preparation tips, or help match a cut of fish with the style of dish you have in mind. That kind of service makes even complex recipes feel accessible. Prices are fair for the quality you receive, and the consistency of that quality makes it easy to trust what you're bringing home. Whether you're cooking a simple weeknight meal or planning something more refined, Blu Fish Market delivers ingredients that make the final dish stand out. If you value freshness, attentive service, and a level of professionalism that's hard to find in specialty markets, Blu Fish Market is unquestionably worth the visit.
10/08/25 - still 5 Stars. Had the Walnut Crusted Cod special and it was delicious!
I am happy to provide an updated review that gives Blu Fish House 5 stars. Our last two visits have been outstanding. Barry, the owner, is passionate about buying and serving fresh quality fish and seafood. Our party of 4 had calamari and edamame for appetizers followed by crab legs, oysters, and shrimp for our main courses. Everything was outstanding.
07/19/25 Update - still 5 stars. Had a wonderful dinner. Started off with shrimp ceviche that was outstanding. For the main course we had blackened mahi mahi. The food was delicious!

My sister and I found this place through social media and decided this is where we were going to celebrate my birthday. We sat at the bar and had the most amazing experience. Ordered based off recommendations from the bartender, and he was spot on with every single suggestion. We had a chefs choice sushi roll that literally melted in your mouth from the fish being so fresh and a lobster bisque that put any others to shame. The service was better than top notch and the conversations with the staff and other patrons really made you feel like a regular! We will definitely make this place a frequent stop whenever we're in town! 😍

This place has really gone downhill. The only good thing was the service. Food was terrible and they started cleaning up an hour before close. Off my list. Totally pathetic and so rude to pile up chairs on tables while people are eating...uck

I vomited in their bathroom after eating the sushi. I vomited in the restaurant bathroom while rod stewart was playing. Low quality seafood sometimes. But i still tipped 20% for the great service. Just be careful on the raw food. I reported to the manager of what happened, no credit or anything. That’s ok. Because technically I did eat the food.

Hear me out- I am NOT a fish 🐠 or seafood 🍤 fan at all. But THIS…..HOLY MOLY! My husband had the Florida grouper, I ordered blackened chicken and we shared coconut shrimp.
The Florida grouper was PHENOMENAL, I would eat that ANYDAY! And the coconut shrimp, what a delight!
So if you are like me and just aren’t sure…I HIGHLY suggest eating here, it changed my whole outlook on water dwelling morsels!

We had a large group on 9 for lunch after spending the morning at the farmers market. Our waitress was wonderful. (From LA, handled separate checks with ease and great friendly service!) The food was good, from gumbo to lobster rolls, butter and mayo based, tacos and salads, all thought the food was solid. They have a wonderful selection of seafood with multiple preparations. This is a good seafood restaurant and fairly priced.

Best fish & chips I ever had + they serve sake bombs #fyre
The only issue we had was that the hostess took a hot minute to greet everyone and it started to form a line. Once we were seated everything went smoothly.

Seafood linguine was under-salted and dry. Did takeout so I ended up making a garlic butter at home and adding quite a bit of salt to get the dish seasoned and tasting okay. For the price ($30), I can say we won't be back because we were so surprised by how poorly done the dish was!
