If the young lady behind the counter would have gotten off her stool and phone I would have ordered something. Insead I left.

I just wandered in and bought a few items for my husband and myself. I brought the items home and ate a peach and cream cheese something, and man, I wish I bought a few more of them!! The women that served me were so friendly and inviting..

I walked in casually on First Friday to shop at the bakery with my husband who was carrying our new tiny puppy. There wasn't much to choose from, so I decided on a cupcake. The employee sitting at the register was busy on her phone, unable to greet us as we walked into an empty bakery. Eventually, she looked up as I was about to order and said, 'We only accept service dogs in here.'
So we walked out. I never got a chance to try the cupcake.

This is my favorite bakery ever. I love their icing so much. They have excellent cakes and croissants. They do keep treats with almonds on the top of the case, so beware if you have an allergy. I have never been disappointed by anything I have bought there. And everything is always so cute. I have a photo from fall and Easter. The pumpkin spice cupcake is killer.

The bar has fun cocktails and bartenders that know how to make them well.

We tried a Paris Brest, Brown Butter Blondie, and Pumpkin Pecan Cheesecake. Everything was delicious! Our favorite was the cheesecake. Will definitely go back! Service was fast and very friendly!

Was in late, about 9pm, and service was good. Came here because of the name (my favorite ingredient). For a place with butterscotch in the name, they had no butterscotch items available even with 15+ offerings. Really quite odd. Pumpkin muffin was good though.

Adore this bakery - but...Wow! Closed on labor day in a town like Bentonville? The line up at Onyx was an hour long. Do your part and support the town and open on major holidays! You are the only bakery downtown and we are a tourist town this is bad in general for business and the town. Tourists who come here for a long weekend expect for these cute shops to be open, super disappointing.

Waited over 20 minutes with hardly anyone at the bar, bartender spilt an entire drink on me, I waited another 15 more minutes and never got served. Left with wet jeans and no drink. Terrible, management should be embarrassed.

As a local wedding planner, I’ve had the pleasure of working with many bakeries—but Butterscotch Bakery truly stands out. Their attention to detail, craftsmanship, and dedication to getting everything just right is unmatched. The champagne cupcakes are my absolute favorite—elegant, flavorful, and always a crowd-pleaser!

They also contributed a stunning piece to a recent styled shoot I curated, and it was absolutely remarkable. The colors were spot-on, and every detail was thoughtfully executed. Not only was it visually perfect, but the champagne cake itself was incredibly moist and flavorful—just pure perfection.

I highly recommend Butterscotch Bakery to anyone looking for quality, artistry, and unforgettable flavor!

Really awesome bakery and bar that features fresh baked sweets and savoury options.

It’s quite a cool location as it’s near the old town area so you can grab a coffee and explore the rest of the area.

The baked goods are decent, a bit expensive, but tasty. The cookies are a bit on the sweeter side, so prepare your taste buds for that.

Really good spot to grab a quick bite and drink, and super friendly service.
