Cracker Barrel is our "Go To" restaurant as we travel across the country. In our estimation, 96% of them keep the same high standard of excellent quality of food and service.
Vegetarian options: I like meat with my meals.
Dietary restrictions: This is not a dietary restriction, but this is the meal I've ordered across the country for my past 44 visits: Grilled Trout WITHOUT the lemon-pepper. Sides are: mashed potatoes with brown gravy, green beans, and plenty of sweetened Iced Tea! And if Cracker Barrel keeps it on the menu, I'll have it for my future 44 visits.
Parking: Service is always great!
Kid-friendliness: our kids are all grown.
Wheelchair accessibility: Don't need this ... yet, anyway.

Placed our order and proceeded to wait for 45 minutes. Drinks not refilled and no biscuits brought to the table. Food was finally delivered. Chicken tenders were rubbery and did it taste like chicken (new item on the menu.) My side of green beans was a small serving spooned onto the plate. My brother's side of green beans was a full serving in a separate bowl. The biscuits, delivered with the meal, were rock hard. A trainee came by and said she would go get more biscuits. Could not find our waitress until we finished eating (except for the biscuits). She came to the table and asked if we were ready for the check. I told her we were still waiting on some edible biscuits, to which she replied, "Everyone's biscuits are hard." The trainee came with a basket of biscuits. Then the host came over with a second basket of biscuits. We explained that we didn't need more biscuits and asked why they weren't delivered prior to the meal. He said it is protocol to deliver them with the meal unless you ask. Overall terrible service from all involved, and no sincere apologies for the complete lack of customer service. We will not be back.

Pretty standard Cracker Barrel. The food was slow getting to our table and seemed to have been on a pass for a couple minutes before we got it. But, it tasted good. Cracker Barrel is generally consistent.

Brought my family to this establishment Sunday afternoon, and sadly the service was not what we normally receive. The waitress who waited on our table took our order fine but seemed to be in a rush , she brought to go boxes to our table less than 30 minutes into our meal which we did not ask for. And then the bill. My wife had taken our youngest out of the dinning area, and over to the restrooms and then to look around to calm her down after she had a bit of a small meltdown due to her autism before our dinner was brought to us. My wife took a picture of some warmies she thought my oldest would enjoy for her birthday while with our youngest looking, the food was still not out at that point. The picture was taken at 5:02 and they came back to the table at around 5:08 or so and the food was delivered shortly after. By 5:30 the waitress had brought us to-go boxes and a few minutes later the bill none of which were asked for, so you can see why I'm questioning the situation. I checked my watch at that time thinking maybe we had stayed a little longer, and was baffled at the audacity of this waitress to do that. Now look, $100+ on dinner is a lot, my wife , oldest child and I all had steaks, the younger two wanted of course something different. The food was good so that amount of money on dinner isnt the problem but when you go in and wait on your food, and then less than 30 minutes after are being brought to go boxes and a bill its a little ridiculous. When we finally left, the waitress that served our table was giddy and right behind us leaving. So I guess we holding her up from leaving. Needless to say, I do not typically write bad reviews but this instance kinda of got under my skin just a little and I hope management takes care of the issue, because it just wasnt right.

We never know what the quality of the food will be. Either biscuits are too done or not done enough. My husband's steak was so tough he couldn't eat it. In the past it was perfect. Regardless, we like Cracker Barrel.

Is cracker barrel it's expensive and it can be rather loud during rush hour times so I would recommend if you have a sensitive hearing set try to be in and out and earlier after those times

Mediocre food and service. It reminded me of the school cafeteria quality.
