Love this place. The food was fantastic! Great fish, shrimp, Gumbo and so much more.
I ordered the garlic butter tilapia plate. I did not think it had much flavor. Others in my party that also ordered it thought the same. I have had better at other places. The service was great, my buzzer did not go off when my order was ready and the woman at the corner brought it right out. The atmosphere was very fun and pleasant.

I enjoy eating at the Flying Fish when I’m visiting family in Bentonville. I really wish Maryland had a Flying Fish. This last visit the employee was a bit rude but the food and the atmosphere made up for it. We ate inside 12/27/26 @ 3pm and there was no line, only about 3 other tables were filled. We waited about 15 minutes to get our food, for 5 people. Pictured below is the Gumbo and Fried Catfish Basket! Everything, including the hush puppies were delicious!! Sometimes I get the fried oyster Po’boy. Prices were on point! Women’s bathroom was a little gross.
