“I was a bit hesitant to try this place because the reviews were all over the place—either very good or very bad, which is always a bit odd. I ended up giving it a shot after checking Uber Eats, where the feedback seemed more consistent.
For my starter, I had the chicken breast tikka. Unfortunately, it was disappointing—small portion, a bit cold, and not something I’d order again.
Next came the chicken karahi, which was easily the highlight of the meal. Great flavour, good texture, really well done. This was a solid 5/5.
I also ordered a tandoori roti (not to be confused with chapati). A proper tandoori roti should be thicker and cooked in the tandoor, but what I received was thin and flat—more like a chapati. It tasted fine, but it wasn’t what I ordered. I’d give it a 4/5.
Lastly, I tried the Kashmiri chai, and this was the biggest letdown. It came as a pink, creamy, watery mix with barely any flavour. For a Pakistani place, this should be a standout item, so it was really disappointing. Definitely a 1/5.
Overall, I’d give the meal a 4/5, mostly carried by the excellent chicken karahi and the acceptable chapati/roti.
Final point out some cling film on the tea before sending out - simple, clean, cheap and effective. Credit to the restaurant for packing well and the only who actually provided silverware !“
