Venue was amazing - had the steak and it was what I expected (nothing fantastic, but good) Staff was super and the atmosphere was breath taking.
Very beautiful. My husband took me for my birthday. It was a beautiful setting. We shared the steak for two and it was good! Our waiter was from Italy & a very interesting guy! Overall, great experience 🫶🏼
Great dinner for my sisters birthday. The chicken dish was excellent and wines were great.
The service was impeccable. Our group of 4 is still talking about the food! Each of us found ourselves comparing our subsequent dinners in Bentonville to our experience at Preacher's Son and decided we should have saved Preacher's Son for last out of fairness to some other really good restaurants. Wish I lived closer so we could go more often.
We have tried for years to have a chance to eat at Preacher's Son and it was well worth the wait. It more than exceeded our expectations and was hands down the best meal we had while visiting the Bentonville area the weekend of October 26. The spiced rum cocktail had just the right notes for fall and the delicata squash appetizer with whipped feta definitely elevated the humble squash. The monkfish with romesco, walnuts and cauliflower had my husband raving. If you have room, the ice cream with a butter brickle sauce was decadent. It was a nice finish to our lovely weekend!
Preacher's Son is a beautiful building with great ambiance. The service was terrific- other than the waitstaff letting me know that I ordered her favorite meal. Food was delicious. Noise level was horrendous- we opted to get dessert elsewhere because we had had enough music and loud talk. I would go again at a later time when it will be less crowded.
We had a great experience. Drinks were all delicious and unique. If you like the standard stuff they'll make that too. Food was good. Best was a seared/grilled fish that had a great char on it. The shrimp and grits was soso because we're from Louisiana and shrimp is always seasoned and grilled for this dish, and these were steamed. Grits were tasty. Pork chop was nicely portioned but not as flavorful as the tasty cabbage underneath. One member of our group got the whole fish branzino and said it was good. Mostly had a great server who was happy to listen to our jokes and we were all in love with the church ambience and beautiful dining room. We would go back and try a steak dinner next time.
Atmosphere was fun, had reservation( had 10 min wait) food was exceptional but service was very slow.
Not only is the view here amazing but the staff is super friendly. All of this and the food really made our honeymoon special thank yall so much.
My wife and my favorite place in NWA. Great parking and a great bar to go with it. The food is delicious and the atmosphere is unique and comfortable.

So incredibly good. We had the tostada, peaches, tofu curry, endive salad, broccoli, and the mahi mahi. The tofu curry, endive salad, and broccoli were exceptional but everything was great. Service was also outstanding and the place is beautiful. Highly recommend!
We were very much looking forward to our dinner at Preacher's Son. Unfortunately our experience did not meet expectations. Though the food was good, the service was not. Our server was indifferent and inattentive. Frankly he seemed irritated that he had to take our order, serve the food or have any interaction with our table. When we asked for bread, he seemed annoyed and then served dry toast. When we asked for butter he made us feel like somehow we were imposing on him. For a restaurant of this caliber, the service should be excellent and unfortunately in this regard, it fell far short.
My reservation was for 2, however my dining companion had an ER so it was a table for one. I was prepared to be sat at the bar but the lovely hostess asked if a table would be fine - which I gladly accepted. Billy, my server was friendly with just the right amount of interaction. My starter of beets was delicious, the hazelnuts added a lovely crunch. The branzino was amazing - the best I've ever had. The burre Blanc was so good and the asparagus cooked perfectly with some very crunchy shoestrings on top. My Paloma cocktail was refreshing and made just the way I like. I ended the meal with the Swiss cake roll on a bed of divine chocolate mousse. A perfect meal in a gorgeous setting. A definite dining experience when you're in Bentonville!
Taste of the food was AMAZING! For the price, it seemed there would have been a bit more to it though. Our server didn't seem the most attentive, so it felt like a lot of unnecessary waiting. That said, we had lots of time to visit.
I am mov d to speak out. 2 stars all categories. As follows: Welcome: mechanical. Server: perfunctory and unfriendly. Noise level: despite some attempts to dampen sound In re-purposed church, the ambient noise was deafening; you had to shout to be heard at our table; and everyone else in the room was shouting: food: pretentious and indifferent - a roast chicken, tough and floating in butter and a gnocchi like baby marshmallows in cheese sauce. Place paled in comparison with two excellent dinners in other restaurants in Bentonville. Diners, beware: the Parson's Son is a long way from the divine.
