We told them it was my bday. Restaurant asked my wife what I was interested in. They had a gift bag on our table waiting on me, with card from all the staff.
After dinner , we went to their basement speakeasy. The GM asked how we enjoyed our evening & if I enjoyed my book. He picked me out of 200 patrons which amazed me. He took the time to remember what my gift was, all while running a fabulous restaurant!
Can’t express what a classy place this is to dine.

What an incredible experience there celebrating my wife’s birthday. They were gracious and kind and intentional! If you have a special occasion to celebrate, you need to go there!
The croquettes were phenomenal and so was the steak and salmon (substitute Daraude).

We received a gift certificate for my husband's birthday. It was a wonderful place and the atmosphere was so cool! The service was excellent and the dinner was delicious! We shared the Honeycrisp Apple (fabulous!) and the Casarecce appetizers and Trottole Carbonara and Flat Iron Steak as our entrees. Both delicious and the meat melted in our mouths. Dessert was the Deli Style Cheesecake that was so good! We will definitely return when we come through Bentonville. Highly Recommend!

We celebrated our anniversary and the New Year at Preachers Son in 2019 and my husband requested that we return this year to celebrate our 40th anniversary. We had the most delightful meal! Our server, Shakira, was excellent. The food and drinks were delicious, perfectly timed and perfectly prepared. The space of course is absolutely beautiful! We were treated to a complimentary appetizer and beautiful prosecco to celebrate. We appreciate all the effort that went into making our dining experience memorable.

My husband and I traveled to northwest Arkansas for a quick, getaway trip over the New Year's holiday. We decided to celebrate New Year's Eve over dinner at The Preacher's Son. What a fantastic restaurant! Aesthetically, it was stunning. We loved the architecture of the church building and the beautiful windows. Inside, the space was light, open and airy, while maintaining a sense of intimacy. They did an excellent job soundproofing along the high ceilings, keeping the dining area quiet and easy to carry on a conversation. As for the food, the menu was both sophisticated and approachable. I have dairy and gluten sensitivities, so dining can be a challenge. I was thrilled that many of their dishes were safe for me, or could be easily modified. My husband and I really enjoyed our starters. The seasonal oysters were from Martha's Vineyard. They were delicate with low brine and slight sweetness. We loved the shrimp tostada with the spicy giardinera. Our amazing server surprised us with the butter lettuce, free of charge. The grapefruit and avocado slices made the lettuce pop! For our main courses, we both had fish dishes. My branzino was one of their NYE dinner specials, and it was divine. My husband had the daurade, which was rich and savory with the mustard seed. We appreciated their lovely cocktail menu and beautiful selection of wines, which we enjoyed immensely. The level of service was impeccable. We had an incredible dining experience and would absolutely return. Kudos to the entire team and our compliments to the head chef. Highly recommend!

The atmosphere was beautiful. BUT...My husband ordered shrimp with corn soup base. It was tiny shrimp and spicy canned corn (really???). It was tasteless except for the red pepper flakes. I had fried tofu...again tasteless. It was a great deal of money for food that tasted bland. It lost it uniqueness after a couple of bites. :( The meal with two beers cost around $100. It was very expensive for a tiny bit of food.

Beautiful restaurant, and the food was good. I loved their half chicken dish. We took our parents here to dine when they visited us.

We love preachers son! The burrata appetizer and fish were 10/10 amazing! The chicken was good but didn’t have a wow factor like the other two dishes! My husband felt celebrated on his birthday and enjoyed his cheesecake ( especially the strawberry sauce on the side). We will definitely be back!

Food was excellent, though not a big selection of items. No bread at table, with no side dishes on menu - just appetizers and entrees, otherwise would've given 5*. Took an hour to get food. Server was great. Pretty inside, however, was fairly loud due to the architecture.

Had the half chicken. Swimming in the sauce. Awful. Dining room was so loud we couldn’t hear our party speaking. Chicken was dry, minimal seasoning. Pretentious atmosphere and menu.

While on a trip to Bentonville, our VRBO host recommended Preacher’s Son for a celebration dinner. We made a last minute reservation on a Thursday evening, and it was the highlight of our trip! The service, the cocktails, the food, and the rafters of this converted church were beautiful. Our server offered excellent recommendations based on some of our prefences - we could have made a meal of only the appetizers, it was so hard to decide because it all sounded so delicious! We can vouch for the delicata fritters which were better than anything we ever imagined they would be. My husband nearly cried over the carbonara, and I enjoyed some beautiful mussels. When we couldn’t decide on dessert (we ordered the Swiss cake roll and a mint dessert cocktail which was a fantastic recommendation from our server) the cheesecake we decided not to get, was sent over comped. And that cheesecake was beyond. So light and creamy with the freshest strawberry compote, and the lime zest really put it over the top. Don’t think you can get a slice of cheesecake like this one anywhere- it is heavenly.
More than anything, I can’t say enough about how warm and welcoming each of the servers who took care of were. Whether it was our primary server, the gentleman bringing over our cocktails, or any one of the servers refilling our water, we felt pampered!! We will be talking about this experience to everyone we know and list Preachers Son as a “must” when visiting Bentonville.
