My husband and I don’t get out for nice dinners very often maybe once a year so when we do, we tend to open the checkbook a little more and really make a night of it. We both happened to be off and decided to celebrate Valentine’s Day and our anniversary from the week before at River Grille of Bentonville and I’m so glad we did.
The service was absolutely impeccable. I can be overly critical (former server here), and everything from start to finish was flawless. Even though our reservation was close to closing time, we were never rushed. Plates were timed perfectly, and despite how busy they were, we felt completely taken care of.
We had gone to Theo’s Bentonville previously, and while the food there was okay, hands down the food and service were better at River Grille. On top of that, the total price for everything we ordered was actually cheaper and we got more here.
The only thing I could even suggest and this is truly nit-picky would be adding a little fresh fruit to the passion fruit cheesecake. Even just some fresh passion fruit (or another fruit that complements it) would have taken an already amazing dessert completely over the edge. I know fresh passion fruit can be hard to find in this area, but that small touch would have made it next-level 😄
If you’re looking for an elevated dining experience with incredible service, great food, and zero pressure to rush, this is the place. We’ll absolutely be back.

The Rivergrille family stepped in when our family needed them most. When our anniversary plans fell through at the last minute, they showed up with generosity, care, and grace, without knowing us and without knowing the full gravity of the moment, turning what could have been a disappointment into a memory we will treasure forever.
That evening was my Brothers’ 30th wedding anniversary on November 11. My brother was nearing the end of a ten-month battle with aggressive brain cancer, and time felt incredibly precious. Because of River Grille steakhouse, that night was filled with peace, love, and celebration.
My brother passed on Sunday, December 14. He had two goals, to be here for that anniversary and for my nephews college graduation. He accomplished both, and he passed the morning after my nephew graduated.
Thank you for the role you played in giving our family that gift.

First, let me write that me and my husband have eaten at some of the finest restaurants in the US and abroad and the River Grille in Bentonville, AR is a GEM! Brenda, the owner has created a spectacular place with ambiance, service and a beautiful experience! Lou, the pianist is there on Friday and Saturday nights and is very talented! Zach and Adam are experienced waiters whose timing is perfect and their rapport perfect! And the food delicious! We'll take River Grille over any steak house in NWA anytime!

Took my wife to River Grille for a Birthday celebration and was pleasantly surprised. Steaks were cooked perfectly and so good they melt in your mouth. Our waiter Zach was great, sharing where and how the restaurant sources and prepares their steaks. We look forward to our next visit.

1st anniversary here, and it was worth every penny. The steaks were simply the best we've ever had, and my shrimp was incredible. We also both got salads and desserts, and everything was flawless. Service was perfect and the place is super nice.

Definitely a solid fine dining option in Northwest Arkansas. A Bentonville gem, you definitely feel the refined atmosphere immediately upon entering. I found the small-ish size of the room we dined in to be a bit charming and cozy. Service was very nice and helpful, though a tad on the slow side, but if you're okay with this you will no doubt enjoy your experience.
Their drink selection is decent and for my main I had the Citrus Glazed Mahi. Top notch presentation and I very much enjoyed the flavors. They have too many appetizing side dishes for me to have passed on them all so I had to try the Spring Pea and Corn Risotto. I enjoyed that as well.
Definitely consider this option if you are looking for a good fine dining experience.
