I went through the slims drive thru around 8pm on 02/25/2026 and had to wait a little longer than normal for fresh fries. Although I had no complaints and was happy to wait for fresh food the team was so kind and even gave us a free dessert for our time. They were perfect example of customer service and professionalism. I also loved my fresh hot fries!

A 10-15 minute wait after pulling in fron of the window. The pickles were so drenched in oil ranch wouldnt touch them without sliding right off. The mushrooms I got were literally swimming in oil. So soggy that the breading wasnt breading but wet mush that had the appearance of vomit even after I tried to dump them onto a paper towel to maybe save them the container they were in was a bowl of oil and the mushrooms were inedible slop.

This location is the worst when it comes to pick up or drive thru. They rarely get the orders right. Orders are not checked. Not even the dressing or flavors they get right. If you want to make sure you get your order right, you have to open all your food and check it before you leave. Food may be tasty but not the order service.

Slim Chickens has a great concept, but the new 14th Street location has been consistently disappointing. The last time I was there, they gave me a side salad that should have been thrown away. The lettuce was yellow and soggy.
That location is usually slow, so there is really no excuse for poor quality control. Even the chicken has an unpleasant smell, and I have received wings with feathers still on them. The odor is overpowering. I have tried multiple locations, and they need to do a better job with their chicken preparation.

I forgot to take a pic but the fried pickles and fried mushrooms are absolutely delicious!! My daughter chose the 3 chicken strip meal and the chicken was juicy and that's a great compliment since I don't like white meat! Good size amount of french fries and I really like their ranch to dip!!

Guy at drive in couldn’t understand “coke”; took ~20 minutes to get order once we got to the window; and almost no bacon on the club sandwich. Definitely not one of the best Slims around.
Halley (or maybe Haley) was so sweet and patient. Seriously took fast food service to another level. This girl needs a raise. I go out to eat a lot and this was exceptional service.

We sat and watched three groups that ordered after us get their food before us. I ordered the four piece meal and they brought out three pieces. The chicken tends to be overly greasy at slim's. The fries were bad. The toast was rock hard once it cooled. They yell the orders from the register to the kitchen which doesn't make for a pleasant dining experience. And they don't seem to like wiping down any tables. Most of them sat dirty the whole time we were there. I don't think we will be going back to any slim's.
