The waffle fries taste like a real potato and the sandwhiches my family and I had were some of the best BBQ we’ve had in a really long time. Our waitress was also amazing I’m sorry I didn’t catch her name but all the staff here is great. No complaints

My last trip to smoking Joe's they got rid of the smoked sirloin jacked their prices up still charging another dollar above. What's on the menu so looking for another barbecue place then a loyal customer for years. But this is the last trip

four stars based on several factors. Firstly, the initial experience was somewhat confusing. Upon arrival, I was uncertain whether I should place my order at or be seated first. After a brief deliberation, I was directed to a table, which I found some unclear. Secondly, while the young waiter was courteous, he was not particularly attentive. He made an error with one of my side orders and did not return to refill my tea or to present the check. A staff member later assisted with my bill and provided it to me. Thirdly, I ordered the barbecue sandwich with two side dishes. The portion size was generous, but the brisket was rather dry and required additional mustard and barbecue sauce to improve the flavor. Overall, I appreciated the portion sizes; the green beans were well-prepared, although the mac and cheese was somewhat runny. Having a background in Texas barbecue, I judged the meal accordingly. Therefore, I awarded a four-star rating.

Good food and competitive prices!

I don't like the regular buns because they are severely underwhelming, so try the texas toast for BBQ sandwiches - it makes all the difference! Regular potato salad AND loaded potato salad are both yummy, so you can't go wrong with either choice. I also liked the half rack of ribs which were good with sauce, but the roll was inedible. Beware the baked beans are delicious, but have big chunks of jalapeño; it has a spicy bite. Sweet potato fries are seasoned with cinnamon and sugar!

Terrible experience. Waited 20 minutes for drinks. Server said they were very short staffed while one of their employees kept going and sitting in a booth with the friends who came in to eat instead of working. Food was cold by the time it came out and only saw server 3 times at drink order, bringing food, and dropping check off. Never stopped and asked if we needed anything. Won’t be coming back here anytime soon.

It was lunch time they were busy but I waited a long time for my food no problem but the brisket was cold the okra was way over cooked no smoke flavor at all the beans were very good the roll was fresh the pulled pork was like warm I expected a hot plate of food done right for the wait not sure if I'll go back

The food me and my girlfriend made us both ill. I got the ribs, not tender, couldn't remove the meat from the bone easily. The ribs had so much salt it made me feel sick at the end. Girlfriend's brisket sandwich had no flavor, the meat had no flavor. The only food that was good was the cheese fries and the mac-and-cheese. The sides were better than the meat. Also we both felt like the food and drinks were overpriced, I didn't get any alcohol but the check was still $50+.

Wonderful atmosphere ?
Food was good, not great though.
Had the pork nachos and wife had the baked (barely) potato with brisket. We didn't like the baked beans that came with the brisket plate and asked for something to replace it and the waitress said, "yeah, that's not really something we do here." ...??? I asked for lemon for my drink three times and it never came. Got an upcharge of five bucks to have my nachos half pork/ half brisket. Grrrr
I would not recommend nor will we return.
