Food was good but wasn't great I've had much better smoked meat. It has a very light smoky taste to it. So, if that's your thing, you'll love it. I would go back. Service was good as well.

Now that I have been to both locations I am happy to share that you cannot go wrong at either. They are both fantastic and my go to places when in the area. I’ve had the nachos, burrito and sample platter with brisket, pulled pork and ribs and it has all been so good that I even shared a bite with my brother (much like Joey, I don’t share food but I had to give him order regret since he just got a sandwich). I cannot even choose a favorite location because of how good they both are.

I've been here a hand full of times, always great food and service! I was riding a bike and was coming home from work and the smell as I passed by pulled me right in! Usually I dine in, but with me riding I thought it best to go out to the picnic tables they have out back... I would definitely recommend this place if you want great BBQ and awesome atmosphere with excellent service!
I got the potato nachos. It was just ok. It was almost $18 and it was the size of an oblong salad plate! I was pretty shocked. With a drink and tip it was $28!Won't be back.

We've eaten at Smokin' Joe's a number of times over the past few years and are always happy with the food and the service. The restaurant is very clean and the tables and booths were not crowded, with lots of room to walk. The bathroom could've used a little attention, it was clean but in a bit of disrepair. Although meal prices have gone up considerably, that seems to be the case with all BBQ restaurants, but we definitely got our moneys worth! We both had to take home leftovers! Our wait person was attentive without being intrusive and remembered to offer to go drinks at the end. She also took care of checking us out so we didn't have to go to the register. Our meal for two plus tip was around $50
