I know these are the same owners as Table Mesa and Table at 6th, both of which I love, so not sure where they went wrong here. I ate here back in 2016 and it was absolutely delicious. I’m sure it’s sadly like many restaurants in this area—the quality lowers with the influx of people moving here.I wanted to get a nice Italian takeout for my birthday dinner so I didn’t have to cook. What I got was over-cooked lasagna and the most bland fettuccini Alfredo I’ve ever tasted. At least the Italian cream soda was good?

My wife and I had an exceptional experience this evening! The food is always outstanding and the service is always great! This evening was a different experience though…. We ordered our food and I ordered my favorite drink from the bar. The waitress (Addison), which also did a fantastic job came back to the table to let me know they didn’t have jalapeños for my drink. At the same time, Josh, the manager on duty came to the table to let me know they didn’t have jalapeños, but he gave me an option!I manage over 700 plus employees and always tell our teams the options are NOT yes or no when it comes to customer service. The options are either YES or YES with options! Josh gave me the Yes with options answer instead of saying No. They easily could have said we don’t have jalapeños, would you like something different? Instead Josh said Yes, I can make it happen! The option was that I’d have to wait for a few additional minutes while Josh runs to a local store to buy some jalapeños for my drink.I couldn’t believe what was happening! Josh put his jacket on and literally ran (did not drive) to the store while it was raining to take care of us. Josh created the ultimate customer experience this evening! The smallest gesture goes a long way with customer service. These are the things I have done for years and wondered if this kind of service still exists. Josh did 1000% the right thing and didn’t say No. This experience and post should be shared with every employee and manager to never say No to the customer. It’s either Yes or Yes with options!Josh went above and beyond and there are many Managers, Waiters and Waitresses that could learn something very valuable from Josh at Tavola Trattoria! Thank You to Josh and Addison for giving my wife and I the experience I haven’t had in a long time! Not to mention, that was the hottest drink I’ve had in a while! LOL…. LOVED IT!If you like it hot, ask for the Jalapeño Margarita the next time you go to Tavola Trattoria! Be sure to muddle the jalapeños! It’s not on the menu, but Josh knows how to make it right!For the record, we’ve never had a bad experience here and any waiter or waitress we have had has been great! This location is definitely doing something right!

This is a great Italian restaurant with a large selection on the menu. The bread was served warm and came with a type of marinara sauce. I ordered the eggplant parmesan, which was excellent and perfectly crispy. It was seasoned well and came with a side of spaghetti. The portion was also just right. I ordered soup and the tomato basil was good, but a bit too creamy for my taste. Note that there are good vegetarian options even though the vegetable minestrone soup is not vegetarian!

The eggplant Parmesan was the best I’ve ever had! They cooked the thin eggplant slices until they were crispy and it was wonderful! My husband had the lasagna which was great too, and he also had the tomato soup, which was the best tomato soup I’ve ever had also! Great job Chef! ?????

Food was mediocre. Not bad, not great. The bread was delicious but underwhelming as it was minimal amount served. The marinara style sauce paired with the bread was interesting. Would have been better if it was warm and not cold.The dinner portions were a bit small. Overall the food lacked flavor as it was not savory.The dessert was good with the exception of the drizzled balsamic vinegar over the scoop of vanilla ice cream. That was a big NO for me.Pricing is fair at approx $25 on average per person. That did not include adult beverages.It was good to try out, but probably won’t go out of my way to go again.Oh and service was good as well. Good waitress Valeria was attentive and courteous.

This was our first time here. It was recommended by a coworker for a great date night. It did not disappoint. The sqwauk and goat is fabulous, as was the chicken parmesan my husband had. We will return.

I got a gluten free pizza and it was delicious!!! The ratio of toppings was perfect! It also made great leftovers! I went with a group of 6 girlfriends, and our server was amazing. Everyone was very nice. The seating was also very close but private enough to feel alone. Love this place!!
