This place has the best ice cream that I have tasted in quite a while. My favorite flavor is butter pecan. One scoop in a waffle cone was huge and only $1.89. You can't beat the price and the quality. You can get a one dip sundae with coolwhip, cherry and the works for $3.30. Unfortunately, we weren't able to do that because by the time we got done mountain biking on Sunday the cafe had already closed. Definitely will get a sundae the next time.
Today we visited once more the Spark cafe. After waiting in line over 20 minutes, my autistic son decided to walk out. So I had to go and get him, and when I came back, I’ve lost ply place in line. But the kindness of people showed up and let me come to the front door of the line. Then, the employee checking us out, offered me the ice cream for free. That was a phenomenal example of kindness and customer service!
The Spark Cafe in Bentonville, AR, attached to the Walmart Museum 5&10, has reopened after a lengthy restoration of both. Unfortunately it has lost its spark. Only serving ice cream now, also gone is the charming atmosphere of an old time dinner that matched the era of the 5&10. Upon reopening it looks like a generic fast food restaurant — very disappointing. There isn’t handicapped parking for several blocks, and until construction in The Square is finished the sidewalks...
