While they will accommodate children, they do not seem to want to. If you have small children I would skip this place. Everyone presented as nice but you could tell that the staff didn't like that we had kids. The food was great.

I went to The Hive for a work dinner. Service was excellent! We tried 4 of the appetizers and a few of the meals. Everything tasted great! I'm surprised to say that the crispy chicken livers were my favorite app. They were tender and flavorful and came with 2 house made sauces for dipping. The baked ricotta while still good, was my least favorite of the appetizers we tried. I also really enjoyed the Campanelle pasta!

We had brunch at The Hive and it was INCREDIBLE! The service was wonderful and quick, and we really enjoyed our drinks and food. The ambience is beautiful, as it felt like we were in a museum while we ate. We even had a penguin join us! Would highly recommend!

Simple menu with GREAT choices! Excellent story telling and explanation of the menu and what options were available. They made this a truly memorable experience with little touches of hospitality. Guests & tables were spaced out to create a comfortable feel. It wasn't super noisy at all. The ambience was cool with the "bee" style decor and a view into the kitchen that was cool to see. The staff was incredibly kind and gracious and helpful!
Nice atmosphere. Service was great. Food tasted delicious. Everything was well seasoned and well balanced. Nice tasty cocktails too.

It was a really neat restaurant. I would like to try it again for the normal menu but will not be back for Valentine's Day. I felt like it was very expensive and the restaurant was jam packed so full that I could hear my spouse. I also was not impressed with the value. It was quite expensive and the portions were very small aside from the entree, which was a fair sized portion. The ambience would be excellent during a time that they don't have as many people packed in there.

Food was outstanding. Service was outstanding. Beautiful restaurant with a “beehive” theme. The lobby you walk thru is a mini art gallery. Very impressive. Now the bad thing. The rest room for guests is reached thru an event space with its own door. A private event was underway and restaurant guests could not transit the event space to reach the rest room. Now, imagine you'd had two beers and two waters. It was tough driving back to our hotel, followed by a run to the closest toilet. It seemed that staff wasn't aware of the situation and I'm not blaming them. But for us, there in the early evening, it was a big issue. Loved the restaurant, the food, the service staff. But the rest room situation really detracted from all of the good. Would go back. Sure, but only if they can tell there's no event at the same time.

Drinks, service and setting are all amazing! Food was excellent, too! Have enjoyed The Hive each and every time I've been there. There's also convenient, free parking in the attached 21C Hotel parking deck.

Limited, but interesting menu. Ribeye was cooked to perfection, and had a great flavor. The Kale salad was excellent. Interesting decor - still trying to decide how I feel about it.
