Loved the traditional food.and ambiance. Service and food were top tier. Ms Zary is so kind and gracious. Look forward to going to the Acropolis again.

We come here frequently and always feel very welcome by Zary. When it comes to gyros theirs is the real thing carved off the spit. We're from Chicago where you can get gyros everywhere, especially Greek town. Their gyros is as good. The gyros platter can serve 2 people. The service can be slow because it's only Zary who serves but it's worth the wait.

This lovely restaurant has Ben a gym in northwest Arkansas for decades. My mother brought me to this restaurant when it was a tiny cafe in the mall in Fayetteville. I was super happy to see them still in business. It’s been 15 years since I’ve eaten here. Need to come for often

Don't sleep on Zary's this place has hands down the best Greek food around and some of the best food period. The stuffed grape leaves are probably the best I've ever had and I've been to Greece. The service was wonderful and our server was very helpful in assisting us in picking out the right dishes for our large group. We'll definitely be back soon.

I've really enjoyed the lunch and dinner I've had here. (The hummus, in particular, has a slightly coarser texture than most. I enjoy it that way, and I've found it hard to come by other places.)
The service is consistently very friendly; my only critique in that domain is that the restaurant seems slightly understaffed, which can affect service speed. The atmosphere is perfectly fine--nothing particularly special, but clean and spacious with ample seating.
Overall, I definitely recommend for good Greek fare.

Please, Americans who keep calling this “authentic Greek” food…. Stop. I guarantee, the sweet Greek family that runs the place is NOT serving you the Greek specialties they eat at home. Gyros and dolmas do not make authentic Greek food. I did only get to see the lunch menu but - no - i was embarrassed that this is what NWA knows as authentic Greek food. Sigh. It was not Cracker Barrel American at least. I would have loved to try the avgolemono soup that they ran out of, and maybe that would have at least hinted at a true Greek household recipe.

It's very hard to rate Zary's Acropolis, because every person sees and views things differently. Some may not care what the place, building, or the inside might look like. Such as the atmosphere, just as long as the food is good and to your satisfaction. Now I do think that they need to find a smaller building, it's way too big of a place for them to keep up with. Aside from that, the food was delicious, and the hostess was lovely. It did take a while to get our menus and to get service, but because we were in no rush, and we didn't have any plans to be anywhere else, we didn't mind. So we didn't mind. Now, if we did have a place to be afterwards, you probably would be reading something differently. I say try, and see if it's for you you won't know until you come out and try it. Would I come back? Yes, would I recommend this place? Yes. Just don't be in a rush to be anywhere. And have a load of patience.
