Fabulous location over looking the cliffs. Staff were polite and helpful, food was excellent and service was spot on. Yes it is expensive but everything makes for a very special and memorable evening. Would love to return.

Restaurant looked great, food average and expensive, I think we paid more for the location than the quality of food it was all edible but nothing special, we had garlic prawns and croquettes to start they were nice. Turbot, Sole and a Entrecote with pepper sauce as main these let the restaurant down just too expensive for the quality

One of the most difficult goals to achieve is getting a table here! They're always either fully booked - even if there are plenty of free table around - or they do not pick up the phone when you want to make a reservation. The staff is minimal polite - just enough to send you away if you didn't have the high privilege to book a table. A disappointment every time we tried it, and it's a pitty, since the view over the the sea is great.

Great food, service and the best view in all of the coast. Highly recommended, and yes, they do indeed take reservations, in spite of what some uniformed reviewers may say.

Literally stumbled across this restaurant- thankfully. It looked closed from the outside, but we were on a long hike and desperate for a drink and break and took a chance. After viewing the local light house ‘faro del Cabo de La nao’ we were a bit of a state but we took a chance and tried this place. We were welcomed in to the restaurant. We sat outside on the ‘wrap around’ balcony for drinks initially. The views are amazing. The staff were great and spoke very good English. After we saw food going past us, and could smell how good it was, we asked for the menu. Once we decided on food, we were asked to be seated inside as it was due to rain imminently. We felt a little embarrassed as we looked so messy from our hike, but the staff and other guests didn’t seem to mind. We had drinks, bread, aioli, Whitings, and mussels. The food was great, service was great. I would like to return to this place.

OMG. Just had their street tacos. All the meats were perfectly seasoned and juicy. The chicken taco was the best I have had in ages. Besides being juicy and flavorful, it had a sweetness that elevated it to another level. Also had a side order of fried plantains. Encrusted in a caramelized exterior. So good. Definitely on my list of go back eateries.

The fantastic views and friendly service don't compensate for the disappointing food. The daily lunch menu is unispiring (a small salad and chicken and chips with over-cooked frozen vegetables) and overpriced.

“We don’t have free tables”. There were many free tables, no people came afterwards, so they just don’t want clients. I don’t know for which reason this restaurant doesn’t want to earn money but the staff was very very unfriendly and arrogant.

We really wanted to go for lunch there but they have a 2 week wait on reservations in summer, they had us for dinner but we had to wait 10 days. Food was amazing, the service was great and the view is breathtaking, the restaurant itself is not very big, I suppose hence the wait, highly recommended.

We had prawn cocktail starter @ €10. I thought it might be quite special being in Spain, where gambas are usually fantastic, but this was absolutely laden with a regular Marie Rose sauce with just a few tiny chopped up pieces of prawn (why not whole? Why so much sauce?) and a couple of small whole gambas on iceberg lettuce. I left a big puddle of sauce and fished out the prawn bits! Which absolutely were not fresh as didn’t have much flavour and were chewy. We then had our pre-ordered paella valenciana which was average. Hardly any meat and more rabbit than chicken - one piece was only the rib cage - and tiny bones with almost every mouthful. Chicken very dry. Runner beans were pale (perhaps not freshly cooked) and had no texture. We mentioned the bones to the waitress who apologised but the cook should have been more attentive. Lovely setting and waitress was very nice and efficient though!

We visited as a family of 7 spanning 3 generations and had a wonderful lunch. The views from this restaurant are amazing and we could all appreciate them from our table on the upper level which is wheelchair accessible. The staff were friendly and accommodating and the wine list had some good and affordable local choices. This was our second visit and we WILL be back!! Thank you to all staff - both front of house and kitchen for making our experience one to remember.

Many years since I have eaten in El Mirador. Service was excellent and enjoyed the food a very tasty paella de mariscos. Our main complaint was that during the course of lunch the restaurant filled up completely. Didn't seem to be much control of table distances.
