The food is fine but beware that this establishment has been charging an additional 3% “Assistance Fee”. This is ON TOP of an extra 3% for credit card payments. This is pure greed and extra profit. The cash price is just the regular price without the 3%. So for credit card payments the merchant is charging an extra 6%. Keep in mind Visa and Mastercard only allow 3% maximum extra charge.

I have eaten at Fredo's several times and
It was good. But the last couple of times
It wasn't as good. When you get ready
To pay be sure to take a look at your
Receipt . They are now charging 3% for
Assistance fee . And they give 3% discount for
Paying cash. Please make sure you
Check your receipts for assistance fee.
And I would encourage everyone to
Eat at Happy Taco.

Got 3 street tacos that had less meat in them than anywhere I’ve ever gotten food before all of the meat and topping from all three could have fit on 1 maybe 3-4oz of meat total. Legitimately felt like a scam when I opened the to go box.

Drove past with a group and ordered multiple items from the menu. The service was great and the only reason it doesn't get a 1 star, but the 4 different items chosen were all pretty bad. Also no baby changing table. Meat was chewy and cheap. Portions were small. Service was good tho. Props for the young lady that served us.

We have eaten many different things at Fredo's. We like somethings better than others, but everything was good. Fredo's Chicken is our favorite plus street taco's. We love their thin chips. We recommend trying Fredo's. Thanks for giving us a place to eat. Service is usually good too. The last time the girl that waited on us was not very attentive. But the guy that usually waits on us it terrific!

Not impressed. Ordered food to go and got home the first thing was portion size. Mine felt the size of a kids meal but the wife burrito was huge. The food was very bland to us even the cheese dip. Plus the order was wrong asked for no lettuce and no guacamole and it was loaded. We were very disappointed

From start to finish, our meal at Fredo’s hit mostly all the right notes.

🌽 Chips & Salsa: The first impression was spot on—crispy golden tortilla chips paired with fresh salsa. The salsa had a nice balance of flavor, not too heavy, and you could taste the freshness right away.

🌮 Tacos: The classic tacos were served with soft rice and beans, making for a comforting and filling plate. The lettuce and tomato were crisp and fresh, adding that extra crunch you want with each bite.

🧀 Quesabirria Tacos: These were the highlight of the meal—nicely done on the outside, cheesy inside, and full of tender meat. Dipping them in the rich consommé took it to another level. This dish alone is worth coming back for!

🍚 Rice & Beans: Both sides were done just right—the rice was soft and fluffy, the beans smooth and hearty. A simple but important detail that really tied the plates together.

🌶️ Seasoning: If there’s one area for improvement, it would be the spice level. It’s clear the kitchen tries to strike a balance to please everyone, likely leaning toward milder flavors for older Arkansans. While that makes the dishes approachable, younger Arkansans with bolder taste buds might crave a little more seasoning and heat.

🍺 Paired with a cold beer, this was a satisfying meal that combined freshness, quality, and care in every plate.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️☆ (4.5/5 if possible) – We’ll definitely be back, especially for those quesabirria tacos!
