From start to finish, our meal at Fredo’s hit mostly all the right notes.
🌽 Chips & Salsa: The first impression was spot on—crispy golden tortilla chips paired with fresh salsa. The salsa had a nice balance of flavor, not too heavy, and you could taste the freshness right away.
🌮 Tacos: The classic tacos were served with soft rice and beans, making for a comforting and filling plate. The lettuce and tomato were crisp and fresh, adding that extra crunch you want with each bite.
🧀 Quesabirria Tacos: These were the highlight of the meal—nicely done on the outside, cheesy inside, and full of tender meat. Dipping them in the rich consommé took it to another level. This dish alone is worth coming back for!
🍚 Rice & Beans: Both sides were done just right—the rice was soft and fluffy, the beans smooth and hearty. A simple but important detail that really tied the plates together.
🌶️ Seasoning: If there’s one area for improvement, it would be the spice level. It’s clear the kitchen tries to strike a balance to please everyone, likely leaning toward milder flavors for older Arkansans. While that makes the dishes approachable, younger Arkansans with bolder taste buds might crave a little more seasoning and heat.
🍺 Paired with a cold beer, this was a satisfying meal that combined freshness, quality, and care in every plate.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️☆ (4.5/5 if possible) – We’ll definitely be back, especially for those quesabirria tacos!

This was the most bland Mexican food I've ever had. I ordered the chicken fajitas nachos. The chicken was in chunky little cubes with ZERO seasoning. Even the few little green bell peppers and onions in it had no flavor to them. There was more shredded cheese than anything and what little bit of cheese sauce was also flavorless. The service was ok and the atmosphere was ok.

The Fajita Trio Burrito is a favorite. Chicken, steak & shrimp are perfectly seasoned and always tender and delicious.
I like and say, is it's the best place i've ever found to eat around here for a mexican restaurant. Atmosphere is very friendly workers.Very friendly, always wanting to make sure you've got what you need.Whether you've needed something or not very up on making sure your experience is the best.You can have to go with your meal.

We are from out of town and was in Berryville. Wanted Mexican food so we came by this place. The lady that greeted us was very friendly and she was also our waitress. She was great. The food not so much. I ordered the shrimp chimichanga and he ordered the trio burrito. Neither plate had any taste much less any spice. It was very bland. The portions and the amount of meat were good just needs spice. The salsa had no flavor and tasted tomatoe-y. The queso was just as bad.

The food is amazing here! We ordered Steve’s Special and a Chimichanga and were very impressed by the flavor. Chips were amazing. We didn’t enjoy the salsa much, but that’s our only negative experience. Salsa would be better if it was a little salty and wasn’t so spicy. We will definitely eat here again!
