We were passing through and decided to try some local BBQ.I didn't take any photos because there was no point. The ribs had no smoke flavor and seemed to have been oven-baked. The seasoning was mild. The pulled pork was dry and I had to add sauce to it - you shouldn't have to add sauce to good bbq.The most annoying thing was we walked in, looked around and waited for someone to tell us to be sat, or something. Instead the staff just stared at us. We weren't local and I guess they figured it out. We sat down and after awhile someone came and took our order. She was nice (hence the 2 stars) and the food came out quick, but the first impression of 0 hospitality already set the tone.

Pay $10 for a 2 piece fish plate that has a piece of fish cut in half. You can clearly tell they cut it in half before they cooked it. My coworkers plates were the same way. The said it came with coleslaw, no coleslaw. Very disappointed.

I guess it’s my fault for not asking but I ordered the 1/2 chicken and it must have been cooked a few days ago. It was dry with no flavor. Good bbq doesn’t need sauce but this is t good bbq so I tried to put some sauce on it. Sauce is not good either.Kream Kastle is way better. I don’t understand why a restaurant would serve meat that is not fresh. In trying to save a little they have lost a customer. I won’t be back.
