Perkins Restaurant & Bakery

Most people would give this a 1 or 2 star - Im sure but let me explain what went on. My husband and I went here after checking to a hotel after a long tiring drive. I like to be realistic when I write reviews. There were about 3 people already seated with no food yet. We waited about 2 minutes for someone to seat us. A quiet night for sure, during the Thursday evening. Someone came out and grabbed something,asked a off duty, un uniformed employee to help seat us. She did with smile and laughter as we were having fun, I told her I liked her outfit! Was a comfy t-shirt and sweats. No problem to us! Short story ( I’m trying lol but I’m a talker ) yes we got our wonderful looking omelettes for dinner and loaded with a lot of great ingredients, Longer story, we waited just about 1 hour for our food. Obviously only one cook, in which she let us know after 1/2 hour. I’ve worked in restaurant before so I already knew! We are very patient people and the employees there were all very nice. Not much food in the area anyways and this was close to our hotel down the street. We made the best of it and all turned out great at the end. Of course she had asked if I wanted a side salad ( no charge ) while we ate, I laughed and said “hmmm and omelette?” Lol laughed and said no thanks ——- BUT he would take a piece of berry pie to take with us, on the house of course! “ She did and did it well! Like I said.. all in all the omelets were one of the best we’ve ever had. I had spinach and sausage and it had..spinach galore and sausage galore with great looking eggs. Thank you so much!

We went in for lunch yesterday. There were only two tables in the place. Every table.im our area was dirty. The table we sat at was dirty.
We waited for a waitress to come over to take our order. We had to go get her to get our order. It took waynto long for them to cook our meal so we left.
Terrible service, unclean restaurant....

Only one server actually working tables 3 others were just sitting around. Server didn't listen to order causing 2 of of 3 orders to be wrong or missing a side. Compared to location in South Dakota, very disappointed. All about the people. SD was excellent while Arkansas needs a complete staff turn over.

We was seated and she took our drink order. People:asked about silverware after they said they waited 40 minutes for their food. They finally walked out it took 30 minutes to get our drinks. There was a couple came in after us and was finished eating before we got our food. Another couple got up and walked out. We waited another ten minutes and still hadn't got our food so we left. There was uncleaned tables when we went in that was still dirty when we left. There were 3 people smoking behind the kitchen area when we pulled up and it smelled like weed outside. Never again will I waist my time there.

This place doesn’t get any better ! The waiters don’t seem to wanting to work! It’s a shame service ! We walked next door to the waffles house and got served almost right away !!!

People working didn't care if they helped you or not was seated and waited almost 20 minutes before a waitress came and asked what wanted to drink after eating never did come back with bill had to go to counter to get bill will definitely not go back. Horrible service and atmosphere.

I will begin with the service. The lady that served me was extremely nice.

the food everything was good except the gravy was a little old looking.

I stuck to the floor by the bakery case. A year ago when I came here it happened then too. I thought maybe somebody had just spilled a drink but I don't think they mop it 😩

Saturday August 16. Food was the worst I ever had and I've been around a while. Returned our plates practically untouched and bill was barely reduced. I will never eat at a Perkins again and I will share this e perience with anyone. Smelled bad too but I tried to look over that as I was visiting from out of town. Waitress was really nice and apologized. No word from manager.

Hardly any people still.slow, prices went up. Service is awful. Food is worse.

For a 55+ menu it a little overpriced compared to IHOP but service was good and the food was good.

As I sit her using Perkins wifi , I could help not sharing my experience, I usually eat here 1 to 2 times a week but this has changed. Today after sitting here for 18 minutes they finally took our drink orders , they show up with only my wife's drink and walked away before I had a chance to say anything, 19 minutes goes by and finally they take our order, my wife asked about my drink and the waitress had the most blank look on her face, but after getting my Dr pepper the food we ordered shows up, only a short 41 minute wait, Perkins has really dropped the ball lately, ker flush goes my business with them

On 7/28/25 thru 7/30/25 We stayed at Holiday Inn and Perkins is connected. My family met us for breakfast and the restaurant didn't have a trained cook and said it would take at least 20 minutes for service, we couldn't even get water or coffee. Another family had been waiting almost 2 hours and still no service. Wait staff VERY rude, so we went to McDonalds where the service was impeccable! Went to get the free breakfast the next day and it took 45 minutes. Other patrons got service quickly and left before our food arrived. The microwaved sausage patties were dried out hockey pucks. Epic failure on management and we will never eat at this restaurant in the future.

Kylie is a awesome person did a great job

We sit at the table for 10 minutes and then they came and told us they were behind and they even wasn't busy and the people that were in there eating already had their food. We got up and left
