As far as atmosphere goes it is exactly what you expect. I'm a backpacker, road hiking, not hitching, south to hop on the Natches Trace in Louisiana. I found this wonderful place days ago while still in Missouri and used it as motivation to move. Believe me please when I tell you that it did not disappoint. When you walk in it smells like the donut shops when I was a kid. Their donuts are great. When you order filled donuts they do them on the spot versus before they're ordered which makes them extra fresh.
They have Kolaches and they were as close as I can remember to Houston.
So that's an automatic 5 stars.
My kids got donuts and they seemed to like them.
But I came for the Kolaches and I was satisfied.
