Ordered the brisket, was not juicy, no flavor. Baked beans, Cole slaw, was awful. Sweet potatoes tasted like they were from a can. Spent almost $17.00 and wasted my money because I couldn't even eat it. I would not recommend at least what I ordered.

Ribs and pulled pork are not good . They boil most of their meat from what I can tell . It’s tough and not very flavorful. From the prices you’d think they would actually smoke the bbq.

This restaurant rudely let me know that my medical service dog was not allowed in their restaurant because it was small. I highly doubt that my clean dog would have made their dirty tables and floor and windows any worse. I am curious if they have all of the flies in their licensed as service animals. Probably did us a favor by refusing us service, too bad that what they did was illegal. Read up on ADA, you can not refuse service to someone with a disability!!! Talk about a civil rights violation!!! Must have been because we are Latino!! To make matters worse my husband is active duty military!!! Proud to be an American establishment!! laughable at best!!! Website clearly says dogs allowed.

I've eaten here before and I was very satisfied with the food. However on this visit the food was terrible. The meat had to be old. I ordered 3bbq pork sandwiches. They were all terrible. I got sick and so did my two sisters. And bye the way. Don't ask for anything extra on the sandwich because you will not get it. I've asked for extra coleslaw and sauce every visit but I haven't gotten any yet. Apparently however they make it is the way it comes to you.

Small town charm, big on flavor. Had the brisket, beans, and cornbread. Worth the drive off the interstate. Great service and owner made time to chat with customers.
Exactly what you're looking for if you're searching for authentic, down home Southern BBQ. Got the Rib plate with greens and Mac and cheese, added some of the brisket and a side of cornbread. Fellow traveler got the BBQ sandwich plate with slaw on top with fried okra and cabbage. Classic white bread slice is
Greens and cabbage were excellent and vinegar-y, what we were looking for. Cornbread was moist and very good as well.
Brisket, rib tips, and chopped pork were excellently smoked and seasoned. Amazing 😍 The sauce given was a bit sweet for me, but if that's your thing, they got it.
Mac and Cheese was a bit bland but not bad at all. I'd try the baked beans instead
Finally the cobblers caught my eye on the way out and took them to go. Very good, even cold.
All told, great trip and worth the drive. Friendly staff and old school atmosphere. 4.6 out of 5 for sure.
