The BEST BBQ in Arkansas - maybe anywhere. Brisket, turkey, burnt ends, sausage - all outstanding. The sides are excellent too (Cajun okra, potatoes, potato salad, beans). Dessert is wonderful (cheesecake, friend pies). Very friendly staff (they "know us" here). Comfortable restaurant, very clean ; recently remodeled. Worth the drive! They are also generous/caring to the community - I've noticed they have offered to serve those in need during Thanksgiving. A great family owned restaurant.

I went here the day of the eclipse. Although it seemed crowded, we were sat fairly quickly. I ordered the three meat plate with pulled pork, house sausage, and turkey. For sides I had BBQ beans and cold potato salad. The pulled pork was tender and flavorful, as was the turkey. The sausage was alright, but not my favorite. The BBQ beans were excellent. The potato salad was okay. I really enjoyed the medium sauce on the table. It had a decent spice level balanced with a nice sweetness. The waitstaff was very pleasant and helpful. I don't know that I'll ever be back in Booneville, but if I do, I'll definitely go here again.

Reid's never disappoints! Talk about super, fantastic bbq - this is it! Comfortable, cozy and cool - you really shouldn't miss this place if you're serious about bbq. I have eaten all over the country and the world - I can't say I've ever had better bbq anywhere. You for sure won't hardly match the friendly service and quick pace these fine folks serve up hot, fresh food! Do yourself a favor and drive to Logan County for some bbq. Make a day of it and hang out on Mt. Magazine (highest point in Arkansas) and Blue Lake or Cove Lake.

Service animals aren't allowed but they hooked us up right outside. The service was exceptional. They provided a bowl for the dog's water and sent home bones.

Take this with a grain of salt, it’s just one persons opinion. We like to take short country drives to what for us are out of the way places to eat. I had hoped this would be one of those, but it did not turn out that way for us. We have been here twice and while the atmosphere is appealing and the people are just as nice as anyone else, the food, while decent, does not make the drive worth it. That’s to say that if I lived in Booneville I would eat here every once in a while anyway, but I don’t plan on going out of the way to. There are things closer that I like better.Again, just my opinion, the sliced brisket was very lean and overdone. The direction the meat was cut off the brisket made it awkward to eat as it wanted to split kind of longways instead of the direction you’d be inclined to eat the slice.I have found that I strongly prefer fresh-cut fries with BBQ. I’m only guessing these are from frozen and seemed to have some kind of breading or something on them but I don’t know.If you are picky about your drinks, the tea was not very good but that can change from one batch to the next and from one person to the next by whomever is making it.In summary, go give it a try for yourself. Support local small-town business and maybe for you it will be a winner.

Eat here for BBQ!! I drove 45 min. to eat here. Best BBQ I have had in Arkansas. I had the sliced brisket, which melted in mouth. Also had the bacon Mac n cheese which was delicious. For dessert coconut crème pie which did not disappoint.
