I went to grinds for a quesadilla. They have cheese, chicken, and steak with the option of adding double meat for extra money. So I kindly asked the sweet girl taking my order if I could have a steak quesadilla and I would like to add chicken to it. She said “one sec” and went to the back to ask the older lady (I’m guessing she is the manager or owner) if they could do that. She returned and said they could not do that. I said “no problem I will just have a steak quesadilla then”. Immediately the older lady with long grey hair came out and said “what do you want” very rudely. I explained to her that I simply wanted a steak quesadilla and if it was possible to add chicken I would like that but if not I would just take the steak. She said “that will cost extra”. Well obviously ? I mean when u add something extra doesn’t it usually cost extra? So I told her that was fine. I finally get my food about ten minutes later. Obviously the old lady was mad bc my quesadilla was smashed and the grill lines in it were black and burnt. I looked in the quesadilla and there was barely any steak or chicken even though I paid extra to have both. This was completely unnecessary and so unprofessional of her. The employee did nothing wrong she was polite and sweet. That old lady with the long grey hair was completely out of line and intentionally ruined my food. Ridiculous! This was my first time going to grinds and because of that lady’s attitude and intentionally ruining my food I will not be back.

I like the more personal feel that you get here as opposed to, say, Starbucks. The coffee is pretty basic sadly. It can get busy and noisy inside, but still comfortable.

While the food and drink is fine in and of itself, the service was the worst I've experienced in Cabot thus far. I came in and ordered my drink and paid with cash, which was fine. But my sister (who I was with) paid with Apple Pay (which she already knew they accepted), and one of the ladies behind the counter just gave her the most unkind look and made it seem like it was her fault when their reader wasn't working. She eventually got it to work and said in a very rude, sarcastic tone, "for future reference, hold the phone way closer to the reader." And walked away in a hissy fit. And then when the girl taking our orders asked if it was for here or to go, my sister said for here, and the other lady felt the need to say (In yet another unkind tone might I add), "we close at 4:30," making my sister feel unwelcome and literally forcing her to apologize for wanting to sit in the cafe. My poor sister apologized and felt like it was her fault they were treating her in such a horrible manner. We were there at 4:05 ish by the way, so they weren't closing yet, obviously, or we wouldn't be staying. I'll close this off with the benefit of the doubt for next time, but I didn't want this horrible service to go unnoticed. (For the record, I NEVER post reviews, this just made me upset).

I love Grinds. I go all the time. The drive-through is very efficient. They will take an order at the window and they will also walk outside to take a second order to make line go smoother. The caramel white chocolate mocha is the best, and the blueberry scone is one of my faves.The ladies that work, there are super sweet and are always so friendly.

I really wanted to like this place but I just don't. This place was recommended to me before we even moved here so I was excited to see it was right down the street from our house. I got it our 2nd and 4th mornings here since our stuff still hasn't arrived. The coffee the first time tasted watered down, so I gave it another shot. The second time i ordered a different drink and it still tasted like they put creamer in water. I'm also very sensitive to caffeine and both times it's like their was no coffee in the drinks...the girls who work there are friendly which is why I'm giving it a 3 stars instead of 1. Update: I re wrote the review because it was deleted and I never recieved a response, NOT to post it at the top. The childish response from the owner is pathetic. I wrote an honest review about my experience after I tried it twice. Even if I did like their coffee the owners lack of class and maturity would automatically make me not support this business. Oh their actions also turned it into a 1 star review when I did atleast give them a 3.
