“We were traveling through looking for places to eat and stopped in on our way to Illinois. Good, clean restaurant with fast service to everybody, including regulars! The staff there was a well-oiled machine. Catelyn did a good job with taking our orders and Heather was probably the most efficient short-order cook we've seen in a while. Food tasted good and came out quickly. Overall good experience!“
“Every town has two Waffle Houses—one striving to be the "good" Waffle House and the other... well, not so much. This location, empty on a Tuesday evening, firmly lands in the former category. The staff was attentive, the portion sizes were generous, and the place was impressively clean.
Of course, no Waffle House experience is complete without a little unexpected excitement. At one point, a man rushed into the building, darted behind the counter to grab something (clearly an employee), and then bolted back out. Just another night at Waffle House.
The pancakes were especially fluffy, though something I ate didn’t quite sit well afterward. Still, if you're in the area, this one is worth a visit.“
