We were traveling through looking for places to eat and stopped in on our way to Illinois. Good, clean restaurant with fast service to everybody, including regulars! The staff there was a well-oiled machine. Catelyn did a good job with taking our orders and Heather was probably the most efficient short-order cook we've seen in a while. Food tasted good and came out quickly. Overall good experience!

I have been a Waffle House lover most of my life, and have been to more locations than I could count. The Cabot AR location is the best ever. Clean, fast, friendly, AND delicious. The server was awesome.

This will be a short review. This Waffle House is a carbon copy of all Waffle Houses in the East. Great cook, fast service, delicious food in a no frills atmosphete with time tested fundamentals. The tea had a slight brew flavor, so it was ok, not a home run, but good. The steak-ums for the steak and cheese sandwich was only ok. Not going to win any awards. Some slices had a twinge of spoiling flavor and a little dry. Common for steak-ums. Just the right amount of cheese and onions to get it down the hatch. I enjoyed the hometown feel as regulars popped in and out. Kinda felt like I was in a movie. Overall it quieted the hunger pangs without making me sick. Great choice for a late night meal.
I give all the waffle houses just 3 stars because they took away what made it good and that was the pacantie sauce not sure I spelled that right but close enough. I love the stuff on a hamb& cheese eggs Since they took that off the table it just really ruins the meal for me .
It's a great place to eat just not as good without that sauce And also they have gotten extremely over priced

To be fair, I haven't been to Waffle House in about 5 years, and I expected the old quality. Waffle was ok, just not like they used to be. Smaller, less crispy, and I'm not a fan of margarine spread. I need real butter and syrup with my sub-par waffle. But price was good, and kids especially liked the add ons. They got chocolate chips added to theirs, but they were just sprinkled on top, not baked it.... but they liked it, so it's a win there I guess. Also I have to mention... the bathrooms were unisex... I can't deal with that either. Girls should NOT share a bathroom with boys who think it's OK to pee on the seat and floor...

Bear in mind, this is Waffle House and not a 5 star restaurant. So my rating is in comparison to other breakfast faster food sit-down types of businesses.
This location has consistent quality with food. Not excessive wait times, over-all friendly and helpful staff. Have no problem returning and bringing others with me.
