Carol's Lakeview Restaurant

We came here twice while on vacation visiting family. My 2 year old is autistic and extremely picky so he never eats at restaurants other than fast food chicken nuggets but he sure put away some breakfast both times! It was delicious as we haven’t had southern cooking in years.

Very good Home cooked food and great service they do have one of the Best Homemade Cheese Burgers around and honestly everything we have eaten there has been good.

Great food and very good service. Very clean inside and out. I recommend this restaurant completely.

Excellent food and service!!

Salad bar was pretty good but ordered the fish plate. Fish tasted weird. Also had a chicken tender plate. Didn’t seem like the chicken was crisped good enough. Upon arrival we had asked if they could do a birthday surprise in the form of like a cake or singing, and they said they could sing for our son‘s birthday. After that discussion Nobody came over to sing to him and it was as if the waitresses were arguing over who was gonna do the chore of engaging in this birthday celebration while they were serving others. I’m not a picky person so for me to be disappointed in the quality of food that is saying something. We were sitting next to the bathrooms and they started cleaning the bathrooms with chemicals before we had finished our food so disgusting. My husband said he felt like he could taste the chemicals they were spraying.

We haven't been at Carol's for years, but todays trip was wonderful. Food was hot, quick amd excellent. Waitress was right on the ball. We are defitnitely going back again
