I asked for bottle cooked brought me Mountain Dew and I asked for sauce twice and didn’t bring it to me land they over charged us

Me and my friend went there and got our food and my friend asked for a bottle of coke and they gave him a Mountain Dew and we weren’t ready yet and we were ready the lady’s kept looking at us knowing we were ready and they didn’t come to us for 10 minutes and when we asked for more salsa they never showed up with it we asked 2 different times for salsa and they said we will get that right to you for the next 15 minutes they never did so I went and just payed for our food and the cashier girl named Angie overcharged me $1.09 until I had another girl check it El Mocojete really needs to fix there timing on service and make sure they get someone who isn’t trying to take peoples money.

This wasn't quite the highest level of restaurant experience, but it also wasn't the lowest. Their staff seemed to struggle with English which is a bit of concern. They also didn't have the best of vegan/vegetarian options compared to other places.
Vegetarian options: While the vegetarian options were somewhat limited, it wasn't too bad.

Were on vacation from Texas and stopped in here for lunch after a hike due to this place being recommended by some locals we spoke to. The food wasn't bad. Meat was a bit salty (ground beef taco) and the guacamole needed completely spiced up it was so bland. It was more of an avocado spread than a guacamole honestly. But once salt lime and cilantro were added it was fine.
The service though. That's what killed our visit 100% there were MAYBE 8 customers in the restaurant (not tables, but customers. Maybe 4 tables) 2 wait staff and we never could get a refill on any drinks, napkins, or more salsa. I did not get to eat my food with salsa because the tostada was so soft by the time I got up and went to get my own napkins after finishing eating, covered in dripping grease, and requested refills that were on the edge of our table getting looked at and ignored.
As a previous server years ago, there is ZERO reason TWO people cannot handle 4 tables that came in quite spread out and not at the same time at all.
Had the service been better, we would have probably given 5 stars as we didn't expect the same expectations for mexican food in Arkansas vs Texas, but that service was inexcusable.
