I hate giving bad reviews, but it was a very gross experience!! I tried to go to the bathroom but it was so gross that I couldn't. So I went to the guy bathroom but I couldn't go in there either. The owner was very friendly and you could tell he was trying. The meat was to dry and burnt, and there was a handful of fat on my sandwich. The Mac and cheese looked like it was a week old, the okra was greasy and over done and soggy. The coleslaw was good but it was dry, so I doctored it up. The bbq sauce was good. My hamburger bun was so soggy that you couldn't even pick it up. So I Decided to just eat some of the meat with coleslaw and bbq sauce. I ate 2 or 3 bite and I couldn't eat any more of it, so I had nuts for supper. My husband told me I will eat it. He ate a very small amount and said he couldn't eat anymore that he was done so he ate ice cream for supper. The dog ate our supper. When I saw the bathroom I wouldn't have eaten there except I called in my order. I will not go back , I wish I would have known before I spent $41. And some changeIt truly was the grosses thing I have tried to eat in a very long time. Sorry for the bad review, but if I had known I would not have gotten food from there. Maybe you should find something you are good at.

What a great atmosphere and dining experience! I spend a lot of time on the road and eat a lot of BBQ, I struck gold at Fat Dawgz BBQ. I had the pleasure to visit with the owner who went out of his way to provide good service. Don’t miss the opportunity to stop by here and get some down home BBQ with a friendly atmosphere.

We came at closing time and he said he was out of pickles for fried pickles hurt my feelings…why did the owner leave to go get my pregnant self some pickles from the store fried em with my bbq sandwich and everything was spectacular..I highly recommend this place for people driving by…Thanx again Mr. Irish for everything I’m so happy

Would not recommend. If you happen to still want to eat here, call to place your order as the website will show items that are available but they actually aren't. Sausage was over smoked, ribs were dry and I didnt even give the chopped pork a chance.

You dont always give reviews just for the food. Went for an interview today met the newer owner for the first time and he's a great person just trying to keep the business going. The environment of the dine in area was also pretty relaxing and just a chill vibe!

Stopped there tonight while working out of town and had a great experience. I was greeted promptly and my drink beat me to the table. I ordered almost immediately and it took maybe 5 mins for the food to come out which is super fast. I ordered the 3 meat sampler with smoked sausage, ribs, and pulled pork with baked beans and okra. The pulled pork was seasoned perfectly and was tender and juicy. The smoked sausage was some of the better sausage I've had in a long time. Now for the ribs. They actually gave you 2 huge ribs that were seasoned just right, tender and juicy and didn't even need any sauce. Most places aren't as generous with ribs or any meat for that matter so that was great. They even brought out some house made pork rinds for free and even offered me more after I finished the first round. Some guys came out the kitchen (maybe the owners) and checked on me and the other guests and were very involved with how the food was and just made the experience even better. This experience was 12/10. Great place. Great folks. I have a store here and will be visiting them at least once every time I'm in town! Thanks guys!

Stopped here while we were passing through town. Good service and good food. Best fried okra I have probably ever had. I will definitely be stopping by if we are ever back in the area.

Wish i could leave zero stars. Seated ourselves and got greeted after 5 minutes, then took another 20 minutes to get our drinks. We asked if we could get our drinks and she replied “well, i guess. “ Not exaggerating. There was only one waitress so we were trying to be understanding, but 20 minutes for drinks and only two other tables? They were out of beef and brisket. To top it off there were grey and black short hairs in my sandwich.

I am SO happy we tried Fat Dawgz BBQ!!! The brisket was *unbelievably* tender and the chopped pork was soooo delicious - their homemade BBQ sauces are the perfect compliment to the perfectly cooked meat. Staff was so warm and friendly! Also, their green beans and potato salad just *crushed*. Yay!! Can't wait to go back!!

We ordered takeout, 2 brisket dinners. One with sides of okra and baked beans, the other with coleslaw and green beans. Husband drives 7 miles round trip and comes home with 2 brisket sandwiches, a pulled pork sandwich all with French fries and extra order of fries.He takes it back -another 7 mile round trip- attempts to get the correct meals. His order was correct this time but not mine. He asked the guy to check the computer for our order and make the corrections. The guy responded with, this is the correct order. I ended up with some pulled pork thrown in a styrofoam container, potato salad and a piece of bread. GREAT JOB Fat Dawgz BBQ. No customer service, no complete OR correct order And a total waste of time, money and gas. ENTER AT YOUR OWN RISK
