I eat here often when I’m in this part of the state. The food is great and so is the service. Jade & Kyla did a fantastic job. Good variety of options from healthy to super yummy and fried. Great atmosphere in this unassuming fuel stop! Check it out!

Had to be in town there and needed a place to eat. Pretty great little gem we found tonight! Quite unassuming untill you find the outdoor space, which was really cool! The service was great ( didnt catch our waitresses name but she was sweet) , food was good and Wally was really awesome too. We will definitely make a return visit.

The food and drinks are amazing and the customer service is beyond incredible. I would highly recommend going there 10/10

Went there to hear Ryan Harmon perform recently and had a great time! (If you haven’t heard him, you should!) I got the grilled shrimp basket with a loaded baked potato and it was delicious. The covered patio with propane heaters hanging from the ceiling was so nice since it was a very chilly evening. Fun atmosphere and great service, even on a busy night.

My favorite place in Johnson County for a lot of reasons but fried catfish is up there. Locally owned and clean kitchens and good food. Best part: either Wally the bartender or the gravel covered patio that dogs can come on!

The food was very good! Definitely try the flying pig and git you some cheese curds! Wally was awesome! We found this place by chance, but will definitely be back. Photo of cheese curds, sandwiches were all eaten!

I recently had a disappointing dining experience that I feel compelled to share. I ordered a double bacon cheeseburger, specifically requesting no lettuce, tomato, or mayo. Unfortunately, my order arrived with all the items I had asked to exclude. After sending it back to the kitchen, the burger was returned with the tomato's juice and mayo hastily wiped off and the lettuce removed—clearly the same burger I had sent back.

This level of service was unexpected and quite frustrating. Mistakes happen, but the lack of attention to correcting them appropriately was disheartening. Ultimately, I requested the item be removed from my bill and chose to dine elsewhere. For reference, even fast-food establishments like McDonald’s have demonstrated better service in similar situations. Thankfully, Whataburger provided a much better experience afterward.
