Went there to hear Ryan Harmon perform recently and had a great time! (If you haven’t heard him, you should!) I got the grilled shrimp basket with a loaded baked potato and it was delicious. The covered patio with propane heaters hanging from the ceiling was so nice since it was a very chilly evening. Fun atmosphere and great service, even on a busy night.

My favorite place in Johnson County for a lot of reasons but fried catfish is up there. Locally owned and clean kitchens and good food. Best part: either Wally the bartender or the gravel covered patio that dogs can come on!

The food was very good! Definitely try the flying pig and git you some cheese curds! Wally was awesome! We found this place by chance, but will definitely be back. Photo of cheese curds, sandwiches were all eaten!

The spicy honey bacon salmon is so delicious! Sweet potato fries are on point! Awesome service! Wally is awesome!

I recently had a disappointing dining experience that I feel compelled to share. I ordered a double bacon cheeseburger, specifically requesting no lettuce, tomato, or mayo. Unfortunately, my order arrived with all the items I had asked to exclude. After sending it back to the kitchen, the burger was returned with the tomato's juice and mayo hastily wiped off and the lettuce removed—clearly the same burger I had sent back.

This level of service was unexpected and quite frustrating. Mistakes happen, but the lack of attention to correcting them appropriately was disheartening. Ultimately, I requested the item be removed from my bill and chose to dine elsewhere. For reference, even fast-food establishments like McDonald’s have demonstrated better service in similar situations. Thankfully, Whataburger provided a much better experience afterward.

The steak was cooked to perfection. The salmon salad was amazing. Service was great very attentive and helpful. Definitely recommend to anyone looking to have some great food with friendly service.

I wanted to try the fish basket. It came with two pieces of fish, my choice of fries and two hush puppies.
Well what I got was two finger sized piece of fish, two burnt to a crisp hush puppies and a large portion of crinkle fries. (Which were supposed to be "Cajun Fries" but tasted no different than Regular Crinkle Fries).
I literally had to fill up on the lack luster fries. Because of the fact that together my fish and hush puppies only equaled one handful of food!

I have been to placed recently that also serve fish, that cost less and for two fish the size of theirs I would have leftovers!

This is my first time visiting this restaurant! Super friendly, cool vibe and that are so accommodating. We will be back for sure! Thank you so much for making me hushpuppies per my pregnant request 🥰
