“I had the basket special. It was fried fish and shrimp with fries. Fries were very good, not your usual frozen fried potatoes usually served at other restaurants. I would have liked the fish fried just to a golden brown instead of the dark brown, slightly over fried. Likewise the shrimp. Shrimp does not require, and should not be fried for as long as fish. Thus, the shrimp was firm. However, both were good, and flavorful. The dipping sauce served with the meal was tasty. It was apparantly a mustard based sauce. I could taste some vinegar and some hot pepper flavor that was nit overpowering. I enjoyed it instead of catsup as I would have otherwise used. The service was friendly and prompt. Overall an enjoyable experience.“
