Mike’s is open. Took my 90 year old dad there on 9/1/21. We were put in the overflow room. Order was taken and then waited over an hour before inquiring about our food. No one seemed to know. Seems the kitchen was serving everyone in the main dining room first regardless of when others arrived. Asked how long after an hour and told 10 minutes. We waited 10 minutes and left. Cannot recommend this place. Went to Catfish Island in Colt.

This evening my mother in law and myself went to Mike's Family Restaurant to eat. The place was very clean and first thing we noticed was everyone was wearing a Mike's Restaurant shirt which looked really nice. Our waitresses happened to be Mary and Emily, both ladies were neatly dressed and very well mannered. Their menu is along the lines of what Mike actually had when he still owned it. MIKE'S IS CURRENTLY CLOSED.. WAS:Excellent place to eat. Fast, friendly servers. Good, good food. Had the pork chop, oh so tender and juicy. Served with my choice, sweet potatoe. Owner, Mike, came by our table twice to see we were taken care of, and if our meal was good. Yes, and yes. We don't live in the area, but will be back whenever we are !

Perfect seasoning. I have the butterfly fried porkchop with bake potato and was the bomb. Salad was superb.
Mikes has went down hill now that they have new owners! The service is terrible. I ordered a club sandwich and I took one bite and threw the rest away. The ham was slimy!Who ever made the sandwich should have noticed the ham was no good when they made it. It makes me mad when I pay for something and it’s not worth eating. And it’s sad that the manager Patricia is the one waiting on you and you sit 20 minutes waiting on a refill and the person your with ask for a fork that they never get!!A manager should go above and beyond to do her job.Especially when it comes to getting a refill or a fork!!Smh I won’t be eating there again!!!Its sad this place has went down hill like this!!
