Osaka Japanese Hibachi Steak House has changed a lot over the last decade (I don't believe it was Osaka a decade ago...or maybe it was?) and in my most recent visit, it now offered an endless buffet option...but not in the buffet style you would expect. Instead of the usual heated trays of food that you self serve at your own pace, you can pay a flat rate fee and choose from a buffet menu that you can eat from as much as you want, as long as you finish the previous serving. They still offer a traditional dinner menu as well, but both options seemed a tad pricey. That all being said, either menu you choose, the food was good! I recommend the Szechuan ramen if you are looking for something with great flavor and a little kick to it.

TERRIBLE. Started off nice, got coconut shrimp as the appetizer. Was very good. Someone brought us i guess complimentary soup and lettuce with ginger sauce on it? My husband ordered the shrimp hibachi dinner. I ordered a side of fried rice and a spider roll. Spider roll was $15 for 5 pieces. When in the picture it had 6 pieces, which is still ridiculously expensive. Asked a lady to take it off my check because it’s such small portioning for such large price, I then say “if it was at LEAST 8 pieces of sushi I’d understand but this is unacceptable” she then yells over me and says “we can do 8!”. I say oh okay, thank you! 25 minutes later after me and my husband finished our food, she brings me a different roll. At this point I was over it. Fried rice was amazing though!

I rarely write reviews like this but If I could give them negative stars I would, the lady was very rude and inconsiderate of my allergies, tried to shame me for not being able to eat something that causes me an allergic reaction, it was the strangest interaction I’ve ever had.
The food was just ok and high in price for what they offer and at the very end after I had payed I found a bug in my edemame.
I was done and left, never coming back
Stay away if you can.

We saw that Osaka now has an all-you-can eat option and knew we had to try it out! We’d already been several times for their delicious food and wanted to see what this new option was like!
First the basics; the dinner all-you-can-eat for one adult is $30. There are some premium options that will add a $5 charge each (sashimi, steak hibachi, and salmon hibachi) Everyone at the table must either get the AYCE option OR order ala cart off the menu, you cannot mix ordering types at the table. You are given two hours to place as many orders off the AYCE menu as you’d like, but you are charged for any excessive uneaten food, or any uneaten sushi at all. This is a standard practice at all you can eat restaurants but may catch a newcomer by surprise!
The Food: We got the crab rangoons and shumai as appetizers, as well as a selection of nigiri, the salmon and cream cheese and crab and cream cheese rolls, the chicken katsu, and the chicken yaki soba. Everything was delicious! I loved the roll selections, I thought they were very generous for an AYCE place! I will warn that the entrees are large sized. Anywhere between half to 3/4 what you would expect from an ala cart entree, which can be important when planning your orders! The yakisoba had a bit of a spicy kick to it, which I was not expecting. I am extremely sensitive to spice, so I was unable to eat it. The full uneaten portion only added $5 of leftover food cost to our bill! (Again, these were large portions)
The Service: There was only one other table than ourselves while we were dining there. The service was slow to start, after we got our drinks we had to wait maybe 10 minutes to put in our order, and when you’re on a timer that is important. Once we got settled and the food started coming we were checked on frequently and the staff was very friendly!
Overall this was a lovely experience and we will certainly be back! I would recommend to any future customers to carefully pace any entree orders!

We both had the all you could eat option. First order took about 30 minutes to arrive. I had ordered rolls and sashimi but got nigeri instead and 2 ordered sashimi weren't served. Second order wasn't any faster. We decided to leave after the second order. Rolls were lacking in flavor. Overall a disappointing experience. We won't be back.

The food was great, but it took a long time to get it. Granted, they were fairly busy, but I ordered online and waited at the restaurant for 30 minutes past the estimated ready time.

Worst experience I've had in a long time. My son and I decided to try Osaka because we had never been there. We both swatted knats the entire time. Communication was difficult.

Absolutely awful. Took an hour to get a single thing. Waitress was rude and acted like she was annoyed at us for ordering. We ordered a tapioca cappuccino and a taro drink. We never received our drinks, only water. We asked more than once for our drinks. I got the AYCE and I didn’t even get what I asked for. I ordered chicken ramen and got udon. I only received 3 out of the 5 things I ordered, with the udon being wrong. I also ordered tuna sushi and a rainbow roll, which I did not get.
Someone else got my order of a rainbow roll, and the waitress appeared to be planning to just bring it to our table after the other table touched it, but the waitress stopped once she saw my mother watching. My mother ordered pork ramen, a california roll, and a tofu clam soup. She only received the pork ramen. The waitress not once came to check on us and we ended up paying for what we got and leaving without everything else. Overall very disappointing. Would not recommend.

Great place with good food. It reminded me of my time in Japan. The car show out front is a great addition too.

Plain and simple. Came to this establishment with Optimism and your normal everyday hibachi enthusiasm with my two boyfriends. We were greeted and sat down, at first things seemed fine and nothing amiss. However, here comes the ZERO STARS FROM EACH CATEGORY!!!:::
FOOD: Mediocre, took 2 hours to get PART OF our order from the all you can eat. I, myself ordered miso soup, 3 rolls, and orange chicken.
The rolls came out first but took nearly 30min to get them. Waited longer. No miso….waited another hour after ordering orange chicken and it seemed it was given to another table.
Still was not recieved
SERVICE: on a rating of 1-10 id rate the overall service a 0.5….she forgot about me entirely, she seemed annoyed when i ordered an item she thought wasnt on the menu. Server also forgot about my boyfriends food. And let me just say if you order tempura chicken it is actually chicken tinders. Its not anything what you think. Ik i should have put that in with the food category but oh well.
Atmosphere: The guys making the sushi DO NOT CHANGE THEIR GLOVES AFTER GOING BETWEEN PATRON AND BACK TO MAKING FOOD! CONTAMINATION IS HOW YOU GET PEOPLE SICK! Keep this in mind. Everyone actually moved like turtles. If you think im joking waste over $120 on a 3 party just to find out. If we had read previous reviews beforehand we definitely would not have given this place a chance.
We left not only dissatisfied with our service but hungry and mad as can be. Zero stars across the board.
(Disclaimer zero stars is what i would have put, however you have to put 1 star just to post a review)
I found an insect in my ramen, you can see the legs and the girl said it was chili oil and said she wouldn’t charge me for leaving the food… the contaminated food.

Food was pretty good, but the service was pretty bad. The waitress we had was very rude and had an attitude with us And seem to be annoyed that we had an allergy and refused to take our coupon
