I've been coming to Chicken Express for years, been to multiple branches and I have never had gravy this watery and inconsistent. It was luke warm, and the water is separating out. Manger says that's how it's supposed to be and that all the other Chicken Express restaurants are doing it wrong. One of the reasons we come is for the gravy. Will not be visiting the Conway store again while the current manager is in charge.

I know I probably in the minority here.. but my mom I were going to be in Conway Arkansas today for a doctor's appointment. We always go out for lunch when we are in town. I took this opportunity to look ahead and do an internet search for the best fried chicken livers in Conway. A few places popped up..but I really liked the reviews of and the overall website of this place. So we ventured in and both ordered a 12 piece with mashed potatoes and gravy with a large drink for a reasonable price. They are cooked upon order, then brought to your table piping hot. To our surprise, they looked absolutely delicious and perfect well cooked. The livers were well battered, all fried through..and not overcooked. They also were not too bunched up so they would taste strong and bitter. The cook there just does an outstanding job.. and the sides of mashed potatoes and gravy were tasty as well. The staff was openly friendly, helpful with to go boxes and sacks.. the restaurant was clean. It was a bit after rush hour. Our dining experience was really enjoyable . We sat there and ate, chatted away...as we sipoed cold fresh brewed iced tea. To be honest this is my once in a blue moon review. I rarely ever take the time to leave one. Typically they are because I'm mad .I thought I would take a stab at changing things with these guys. Highly recommend.

Lady selling food was extremely rude, worker in the back picked and ate a bugger while we waited. We will NEVER go back !!!!

food was cold and chicken had looked liked it had sat from day before . Lady that took my order asked 3 times my order still got it wrong and over charged me 4 dollars and still did not get order right and could not speak English well at drive thru and no one apologized for anything 🙃 not a good experience

The chicken was extremely dry again. I didn't get part of my order and had already made it home. The other sides were pretty good. I could barely chew my chicken. I was very disappointed again. We ate at 3:45 pm. It was definitely NOT worth $27.

The best chicken liver around. So tender and tasty
Always good. A must stop when we are in town. Southern sweet tea is the only sweet tea.
