Phenomenal chicken! Truthfully competing for the best in the south as a store with so many branches!
Kid-friendliness: I have 3 month old daughter and the temperature was perfect for her and the seats were wide enough to fit her car seat. She loved the lighting and music as well!

Great catfish and cherry pies. I would say 80% of the time, catfish is awesome. Maybe 20% it was either overcooked, burnt oil, or shabby fish provided. Service is friendly and prices are reasonable. About $30 for two 3-piece catfish dinners. Hushpuppies are really good. FIVE STARS.
Maybe 2020, this place would be 2 Stars. Seems management and staff have changed.

I usually brag on Chicken Express, but NOT today! Had livers that were very over cooked! And tenders that seemed half the size of those we have had in the past! With the prices increased so much, I am afraid they have lost my business!?

There are few chicken brands that are worth stopping at anymore. Chicken Express is definitely an exception. The food is still excellent and the prices for what you get is reasonable. Wish they were everywhere, also their personable and competent staff.

New to town stopped in to get some gizzards what a mistake! I cant believe a major food chain place would serve anything this horrible absolutely disgusting! They should be removed immediately from the menu or learn how to cook them! They should be boiled and then fried!! Remove them immediately before someone get food poisoning!!
