Absolute five star food! Real honest to gosh country with heart. Probably the best roast beef I've ever had. Tender, fall apart, flavorful. The only disappointment was the mashed potatoes. But the squash casserole was a home run, the white beans were exceptional. Coconut pie for dessert was a great ending. The staff were super friendly. Yes, there's a line. But worth the wait. If you're even close to here during lunch time, make the drive.
Pinto beans & fried potatoes & jalapeño cornbread delicious but the chicken and dressing was mainly dressing & maybe too much sage or something out of the ordinary. Would not recommend the dressing no chicken but the banana cream pie delicious.
This is a cafeteria style dining place. The food is great, the service is awesome and the price ain't too bad either. Stop and give em a try! You won't be disappointed. Also they are only open for lunch... 11-2 I think.
