Julie's Sweet Shoppe & Bakery

Julie’s Sweet Shoppe made our wedding cake & cupcakes for the reception. They were absolutely delicious and beautiful. The team at Julie’s was incredible professional and made sure they had the best understanding of what we wanted and they delivered just that.

Today we celebrated my father’s life. We lost him pretty unexpectedly and under pretty upsetting circumstances after 34 days in the hospital back in December. It has taken my family a while to be able to move through this step and I’ll be honest, multiple times I wanted to cancel the event I had just announced. Many times I thought “how do you celebrate someone? How do you tell the world how much you love someone when there aren’t enough words” and many times I immediately regretted my decision to host an event. Many times I thought well, “seemed like a good idea at the time” when I would think of how to plan for my father’s event. But, alas, I continued the course. During the path, I posted here and was therefore connected with Julie Goodnight at Julie's Sweet Shoppe. I called and spoke with her and gave her full control and well, here we are, we have arrived at my review: My shout out is for Julie's Sweet Shoppe. I gave them an image and said “you have creative control” and left it in their hands. The cake could not have turned out more beautiful and the cookies are an amazing addition. It is important to me to support local and other people’s dreams and by shopping local I can do both. Please look into them the next time you need something for an occasion. The cookies were $30 a dz and the cake was around $45. I have only shopped at Julie’s for stuff at the holidays but after this I will shop there more often. 10/10 would recommend them for your next event. I had two conversations with Julie herself and I am very thankful I chose them as the company for my father’s celebration of life.

Julie's made our wedding cake dreams come true! We had a unique flavor of banana nut cake with peanut butter icing and it was truly delicious!

What a great place. Big supporter of Veterans!!! I can't thank you enough for that. Breakfast was great. Extra sweets we brought home were awesome. We have been telling everyone about your shop. We plan on making this a frequent stop when we are in Conway. Everyone on the staff was very friendly. 👍👍

Always drove 40 plus miles to buy Julie's fried pies. Evidently there is a new Baker the last few months. The fried pies now have a thick crust, the glaze is not that wonderful bakers glaze, and the fillings that were so good, now are mediocre at best. I am so disappointed. Cookies are good, but anyone can make cookies. I am no longer buying fried pies st Julies.

Ordered a cake for 40th wedding anniversary and they did a fantastic job. The decorations were well done and the cake was delicious. Picked up some Bavarian cream donuts also and they were the best. I rate this place with 6 stars.

We ordered a chocolate cake for our son’s birthday and it was absolutely delicious. Everything about the cake was just 10/10. It was fluffy and soft, the icing was sweet but not crazy rich. The staff was super sweet and helpful. We will definitely be going back 😁🥳
Also, it didn’t break the bank which was the best part considering how professional and amazing it looked and tasted.

Asked for the colors of the cookies I ordered to be black and purple because those are the only colors being use in the entire baby shower. Showed up to orange pumpkin cookies, pink bows on another orange pumpkin cookie, and cat cookies we never ordered. The mom to be is allergic and hates cats and the color pink unfortunately. She stressed she did not want this to be girly even though she’s having a girl. Kinda seems like they heard the theme and took it upon themselves to do whatever they want even though I gave basic instructions on what we needed. Looked sloppy and thrown together. Now having to go fix them myself. Super disappointing!

Very nice taste very good

The cake was gorgeous ❤️❤️❤️ my family’s picky so they said the red velvet was a little bland. The lady did make my cake to the T though with everything I wanted.

Julie’s made some fantastic custom Pokemon cookies for my son’s first birthday! They even worked with me when I needed to change something on my order. Highly recommend them for their great customer service and fantastic pricing on custom cookies.

I had the donuts at a recent work conference...might have been the best iced glazed donut I have ever had!! Exceptionally well done! It's the kind of glazed donut where the glaze chips fall off as you pick it up and get ready to devour the donut. The icing was perfect too! Others at the event were raving about the blueberry cake donuts, which also looked phenomenal. A must-stop if you are in Conway, and if you're making the trip from Springdale to Little Rock, for example, be sure to get there. Well worth any type of drive it would take to experience these fantastic donuts!!

This review is certainly overdue, but nevertheless Julie, the owner, needs so much recognition for coming through for me and my family on our special occasion.

Customer satisfaction is her #1 priority! It’s also why we are willing to make a decent drive to visit her shop when we’re in need of sweet treats.

We had a bit of a misunderstanding on one of our orders and Julie was willing to have her team whip up a new batch of cookies last minute and drive all the way to the other side of Maumelle herself before a family get together to make things right.

We ended up keeping the cookies they gave us originally, and to make up for the situation she more than had us covered with our next order! The work her and her team does is exquisite and super tasty! She will go above and beyond for you! Give her a call for your sweet treat needs! You won’t regret it!
