My fiance and I went in yesterday to talk about a wedding cake.
A lady named Wendy who i can only assume is the manager was great. She created us literally before the door closed behind us as we walked in. We looked around a moment and than she asked if we needed help with anything. We told her what we wanted and she got another young lady who I meant to catch her name but did to talk with. They did give us some samples to try, we tried the lemon, Chocolate, and red velvet. The lemon is GREAT!!!
The young lady who talked with is was friendly, and asked clear questions and even gave some examples of things they could do. By the time we were done, we had our wedding cake ordered.
Other things thay stuck out to me where the fact they have regulars that come in alot and was on a first name basis with them. One of the ladies there who we share a mutual friend with asked about our son because thay mutual friend babysit for us and takes our son to local church and vulonteer functions which I personally thought was awesome.
I would recommend Julie's Sweet Shop to everyone

This place may have the best pimento cheese in the state of Arkansas. Delectable honey buns and plenty of fried pies to choose from.

We ordered cookies the day of our conference. Julie’s had plenty of what we requested! This is the first time ordering and experiencing Julie’s cookies. They are soft and perfect- if you enjoy the almost underbaked (but baked) they are phenomenal!🩷

I love Julie’s! I swing by here anytime I come through Conway. They have the best cookies and donuts. The staff are all always so patient, helpful, and friendly. I had Gina today, and she was just a joy. I had a long, drawn out, complicated order, and she tackled it all with patience, kindness, and grace. Big fan!

I've always heard good things about this place, but I honestly don't think it's great at all. Very expensive for a birthday cake and it had the most bland taste. Tasted like straight sugar.

You could easily make a better cake from a store bought box which only costs less than $5 vs this $45 cake. I was just expecting more for the price.

In the past they have always done great. I recommend them to a friend and these cookies costed around $70-$75. I reached out to the owner to let them see how terrible these cookies looked, and didn’t really feel like they cared to try and make things right. They did offer to remake the cookies but the event they were for was already over. They did offer a $29.99 credit towards the next order but I personally didn’t feel like that was enough. I think they have grown so much they do not care anymore about their customers.

We got 3 items, the red velvet cupcake, Heath bar cookie, and peach pie. The peach filling in the pie was a puree and tasted more like canned peaches. The cookie was partially raw. I like chewy cookies, but not raw in the middle. Last and most disappointing, the red velvet cupcake had buttercream instead of cream cheese icing. Also, the buttercream was too sweet. I'm sure this is a great bakery for some, but it is not my cup of tea.

Julie’s Sweet Shoppe made our wedding cake & cupcakes for the reception. They were absolutely delicious and beautiful. The team at Julie’s was incredible professional and made sure they had the best understanding of what we wanted and they delivered just that.
