Mike's Place is consistently the very best food as far as the overall dining experience and food quality when dining out. It's one of if not the best restaurants in Arkansas if not the entire MidSouth. The fish , the steaks, are always prepared just right and the sides and salads are all very delicious and fresh. If you are looking for a great bar experience and good drinks like cocktails, or just a beer at the bar Mike's Place is as friendly and skilled at that as theyvarecat serving delicious food.

✨ Local Favorite Shout-Out ✨ Stopped by Mike’s Place tonight and ended up having the best unexpected evening. I missed a networking event (it’s next week 😄), so I sat at the bar—and I’m so glad I did. Huge shout-out to Drew, who not only did an excellent job as bartender but also helps run the Facebook page. Friendly, welcoming, and great service all around. I enjoyed the salmon dip special along with a couple glasses of wine—absolutely perfect. This has always been one of my favorite spots in Conway, and tonight reminded me why. Shout out to Ken, one of the bartenders as well! -Ruthie Daugherty

Wow. That's all I can say about Mike's Place. We stayed in Conway both going and coming back on our three week road trip. This was by far and away my favorite place on our trip. The first night I had the Shrimp Brantley appetizer, a pomegranate martini and key lime pie. All were delicious. On the second visit we shared the large size prime rib, and it was fabulous. Also had the amazing fried green tomatoes. On the second visit I went up and talked to Mike who was hanging around with some of the crew. We had a lovely chat and he walked us out to our car and prayed with me about my health struggles. I just loved meeting him.

Great service. Delicious food and good portion size. Not too big or too small. Moderately priced. Well worth another visit. Local gem.

Tonight should’ve been simple — a quiet Thanksgiving dinner, just the two of us. Instead, for the $300 I spent, the evening felt more like a scramble than a celebration. What makes it sting even more is this: back when I lived close and worked in Conway, this place was a staple for me. I’ve eaten here well over a hundred times since the doors first opened. I know what this restaurant can be. Tonight was not that — not even close. We were seated by one server, given water by another, had to flag someone else down for a wine menu, another for bread, another to place our order, someone else to confirm it was even in the system, and finally another person entirely just to get the ticket. It shouldn’t take half the staff to serve one table. It was scattered and messy from start to finish. The steaks? Cooked correctly, yes — and that’s where the praise ends. No seasoning, no salt, no char, no trace of the 21-day aging you advertise. Just flat, flavorless meat. You’d never guess it touched a wood-fired grill. They offered a dessert on the house, which was kind in intention, but poorly executed. My girlfriend loves crème brûlée, and this one simply wasn’t right. The custard wasn’t set, and the sugar top wasn’t properly caramelized — just overheated, warm, and watery. It fell apart instantly. I’m not here to tear anyone down. I value craft, consistency, and doing things the right way — and for years, this place delivered exactly that. But tonight… tonight felt like a different restaurant entirely. And after a hundred meals and years of loyalty, I hate to say it, but this may be my last visit. Please fix the service flow, retrain the grill and dessert stations, and bring back the standard you used to hold. You’ve got the bones of something great — but right now, the cracks are showing.

Awesome friendly service. Steaks has always been on point. Love the atmosphere and always clean. Highly recommend for a date night or a group of friends.

Nice place. Salads where great. Cajun food was lacking spice & not quite Cajun enough for me.
