Well, the employees murdered this Steak & Shake location, really. I never saw any sign of effective management. Was the franchisee totally unprepared and completely incompetent, did the franchisee run off competent employees by way of insufficient compensation and/or the inability to manage or were they just wanting to break the contracts. Fast Food Restaurants are a challenge in states with healthy choices. Arkansas is not that kind of place (by every measure Arkansas comes in at the bottom of the list) (why don't we have Whole Foods and Sprouts), really. If you have doubts, make a list of the unhealthiest fast food in town, drive around and make a count of the places' parking lots. That said, about the only Fast-Food Franchise Restaurants that are failing around here are Long John Slivers and maybe Taco Bell (judged by the empty parking lots). Clearly, the burgers were nearly idiot proof (read the reviews). I kept coming back, but I modified my order to eliminate any random thought processes from the foot draggers and stoners. So, I'd like to see Steak and Shake reopen, cause my heart doctor said i can have an artery clogging burger and fries @ $3.99 once a month if I take Lipitor and exercise relentlessly.

A bunch of really hard workers that seem to always be understaffed? I always really appreciate the employees here because they always seem to go above and beyond but I still have to wait a long time for everything because they are each doing the job of 3. However, I still come back because I think the food is just that good

Decent food, not worth the price. The drive thru workers were not trained at all, it was a complete mess when I was ordering. I was at the window for 10 minutes before they gave me my food which was ready to go on the counter.

Horrible! Every single thing inthe sack was cold..burgers, nuggets, fries and onion rings not only cold but nasty. Person at register taking orders sneezing repeatedly and of course had no mask on EVEN THOUGH websiteClearly states that employees wear masks..BIG WASTE of $35. Tried to call them to complain but was hung up on repeatedly

Place has really went downhill since the original owners. The lady who took the order was nice, after that there is not too many positive things i can type. Order wasn't correct, food was lukewarm. etc etc etc.....won't be back :(

Food was terrible burgers were soggy and buns were old and nasty and the cheese on burgers tasted old the tea tasted like dirt but the employees were very nice

Didn't even get the chance to order because we were ignored! My gf and I walked in and were literally glared at. A small party of 4 were seated eating and the crew were in the kitchen. I didn't see the displays with menus so I was confused as how to order. Do I sit and they come take my order? Or do I need to order at the counter? It was bleak and grim inside and you can feel it in the atmosphere as soon as you step in the door, honestly!!! We stood at the register/counter for about 8 minutes... just waiting... Made eye contact with the kitchen staff and were ignored. We were given no acknowledgement whatsoever, not even a "we'll be with you" or an indication they were busy and unable to assist us right away I was told this is a fairly new location and it's a damn shame how it's already off to a terrible start I'd rather drive 22 minutes away to the other franchise, which is what I should've done in the first place

This place has very poor service have a large family we where on vacation stopped in and every order was wrong and every other costumer that came in got the same every order was wrong. Just so everyone knows that was the Conway Arkansas store. I have never had trouble with any other store steak -n- shake has very good food

tried to go through the drive through at 9:35pm. hours say that they close at 10pm. the place and the menu were lit, we sat there for 3 minutes in silence. no one came over the speaker and said a word. we had to wait until an employee came out to take out the trash to ask if they had closed early and he said yes. someone had just gone through the drive through ahead of us; they were still at the window when we left. definitely a very unprofessional and negative experience.

Had been out with my grandson all day and had gone to a ball game in Little Rock. The road back to his parent's house was late and we were both a little hungry...just a little. Not sure why, but a shake sounded great. Was hoping to see a place I could get one. Used the GPS. Almost turned around as it was further from the highway than thought it was. BUT they were open. We both had a shake and I a hot dog. The shakes were great, and hit the spot as a snack. The hot dog??!! nothing to recommend it, although it was edible.Guess that is why it isn't called Shake and hot dogs.... To be honest o this it has been many years since in this franchise, but there isn't any close to where I live. Would I go back? For a Shake, yes for sure? Burger's? don't know...they don't actually serve steak

They were out of the stuff to make chili 3 ways, Dr pepper and we waited for almost 30 min to have them forget our fries. I've been going to steak & shake in Illinois for almost 50 years and have never had a bad experience, this one in Conway Arkansas is very sad. I'll just go to the ones that I know are good and skip the one in Conway.

NEVER going back!! Did not receive all my order and asked them to credit my card for the items missing. The female mgr told the worker to tell me that I need to dispute the charge with my bank!!! Wth!! Then refused to get on the phone bc she was busy. Went back up there and got my money with no hassle. We were faithful customers, but after seeing how dirty the place and the employees were ended that. Food was not good and fries were hard and wasted $20.. H*ll no, never again will I go back
