It's really too bad this place had to close. It certainly was not due to the quality of food as Taqueria Gonzalez had among the best Mexican food in Conway. Take it from someone who lived in Los Angeles for 26 years. This was authentic Mexican food.

This is the best authentic Tijuana Mexican street food I have ever had in Arkansas. Their ingredients are extremely fresh and prices are very reasonable. They are the only reason I ever drive to Conway. I highly reccomend their tacos, quesadillas, burritos, and tamales. You have to make sure you get there before the tamales run out because they make limited batches. There are some off-menu fare I have yet to try but will on my next visit. I can't reccomend this place enough!
Fantastic food. If you can figure out and get by when they're open. I'd eat here allot more but it's always closed when I think about it. But let's say for lunch on Wednesday then hopefully your Golden and it will be a treat.

My husband's and my experience was during COVID so we could only do drive through with a limited menu. We both ordered the adobada quesadilla and he added a pollo taco. I loved the quesadilla. I am an al pastor fan so just had to try the adobada for sure. The tortilla was the right thickness too. I am not a fan of salsa verde, but their's was fantastic. The salsa rojo was a little too spicy for me but still had good flavor. We will definitely return.
