This restaurant has seen better days. It’s clean but showing its wear. The menus fall apart in your hands. We sat at a regular table. Maybe the hibachi is better but with the food so horrible at tableside, I wouldn't try the hibachi. It's weird to see the good reviews on here because it is expensive and has quite awful food tableside.

Since it is a very expensive place to eat you would think the food would be good but sadly it is really bad. There were two of us and we both ordered sushi which they specialize in. Our food was so bad that I would go so far as to call it disgusting. It stunk like old fish that was originally frozen. We ordered a mojito and it came straight from a bottle of mix that was simply poured into a glass with so little alcohol that it was a joke. Our bill for two people was over $100. The only thing that was good was our server. We would NEVER return.

I'm updating this because we got the calamari salad and the tomatoes on it were rotten. They smelled rotten and tasted like it as well. We told our Waiter Holden who was very polite about it, but we think the kitchen made him bring out the same salad they took back. So kinda strange they said they remade new? Only thing new was fresh more rottin tomatoes 😂 all I'm saying is just change out your tomatoes!

First time there. Very nice place. I ordered the steak hibachi. Fresh and hot. Steak seasoned and cook medium well just the way I like it!! I will be back!!

Everything is always superb if not superfluous. Especially when we come and get a one specific host, an older lady maybe in her late 50- early 60s. I cannot recall her name but she is just the hardest working, kindest, most interactive and comforting host you can imagine. This woman is one thing that keeps us coming back to look forward to

Worst food and service over had in a long while. I ordered the pork belly on a stick which was almost inedible because it was rock hard and dry. Ordered the brussel sprouts that were drenched in oil and then for the entree, order the Z.O. chicken bento. When I say the bento box was bland I cannot express the blandness. I put salt on it and still couldn't find more than fried chicken and a lack luster sauce. Tried the sushi roll, bland. Tried the tempura onion rings also bland. You could taste the sweetness of the onion but it was like they forgot to add any seasoning to the tempora batter. Everything on that bento box was bland. And when I brought it to the waitresses attention, she told me that they sell a lot of them and all the time. Almost like she was telling me I was crazy and I should love something that was easily outdone by lemon water. So instead of going to the manager and coming the meal she arrives with the ticket for all the food. Couldn't believe it. Basically treated me like I didn't know what I was eating and that I was wrong and then wanted me to pay for it all. Never getting the manager or being at the least sympathetic to a botche meal. Used to love going here but man it's fallen hard. Won't make the trek from LR for that type of thing ever again.

I had a sushi combo with 3 fried sushi rolls. My partner had the the Brussels sprouts with shrimp and scallops. We shared both and omg they were amazing!! I had no idea this place was going to be as good as it was!! If you like sushi stop what you are doing and go now!!
