The food was great, the service was fabulous and we got all of our food delivered at the same time!
Went to Huddle House today for lunch after church. There was only two other cars there so we thought we ought to get great service. There was no fruit, no veggies and minimum staff with no manager. on top of that, the food was over cooked and over priced! After we ate I looked at the griddle and cooking surfaces, they were in terrible shape and in bad need of not only a new food or daily cleaning but a weekly cleaning. If you've ever worked at a similar establishment and I have, you know that this means the cooks were never trained properly on how to clean cooking aufaces and prep areas. Whoever owns this establishment really needs to get their ducks in a row!!! You need to hire an experienced RESTAURANT MANAGER!!!
I have to edit my previous review. The last couple of visits to the Crossett Huddle House has been awful! The eggs are runny and swimming in oil or water - couldn't tell exactly what it was. The pancakes looked like they were cooked on a dirty griddle. The omelets were gross, hash browns were burned and the grits were inedible. I couldn't even finish my meal. Flies everywhere. And I had a birthday offer for a free MVP breakfast and wasn't allowed to use it. I will drive to Bastrop from now on! So disappointed!
Could not eat our meal...it was so greasy and the grease was burnt. The oil on the plate had black specs in it. Eggs were over cooked and hard..hash browns were burnt. It was awful, sausage was also over cooked and hard.
On top of that my daughter and I both nearly slipped on the greasy floor. And after all of this she brought our check...over $27.00!
She said they would make our meal over, really?? We certainly were not going to wait for them to clean the grill. They did my Texas toast on that greasy griddle and brought it to me with the grease soaked into it..
Be aware when you go there, this is not a place you want to eat!!
I would never recommend this Huddle House!! I wouldn't deed that greasy mess to my dog!
Not sure who likes deep fried biscuits, deep fried bacon, deep fried hashbrowns or deep fried burned Texas toast. If you do this is your go to place. It's not for ppl who expect cleanliness, edible food or anything you actually want on the menu to be available.
three visits in a row, I get hair in my food. if you eat here, make sure you are looking at each bite....I'll never go back to the Crossett location.
This is the first time that I have walked into that building and it didn't have that musty smell. Service was good and so was the food
Food and staff were terrible. Place was dirty. Had to find napkins for myself. Stayed at a motel nearby. Said they were open till ten. Nope they shut down at 830.
(2)Passing through thought we'd stop for breakfast. Cook had a problem with the menu I guess. Both times our meal was short of ingredients according to the menu. Nice waiter. I guess will try it again someday. I'm not one to expect perfection eveytime. Nice people.
Tables were dirty. Ordered 6.99 value option and bill was 14.14

We have been to HH in Crossett three times and the food is great. There's usually only 2 people working and the food is cooked to order so the service can be a little slow but Kelli and Tall make it worth the wait!! The food is always fresh and hot!
The waiter was dressed in cut off warmup and house shoes with a do rag on her head, l could not believe it

Some dude in a camouflage shirt turned us around at the door and told us they were closed for maintenance. There was other people inside eating. He shut the door while we was looking at him and locked it in front of our face. He wouldn't go into further details of why he wouldn't let us inside while other families were being allowed to. Definitely a rude experience to have gone through with my family trying to find a quick bite.
The waitress completely ignored us when we tried to ask for assistance. There was one other customer in the place and it still took us 35 minutes to get our food. I would not recommend this Crossett Restaurant to anyone
