Took my husband here yesterday and he loved it! I’ve been here a few times but not recently. My food was absolutely delicious!! I ordered the chicken street tacos. The chicken was fresh, juicy, and they even gave me double tortilla. I feel like it’s rare to order something and get fresh tasting chicken. Not here!! We will now choose Las Vaquitas over any other Mexican restaurant in Derby or the surrounding areas. We also had a super nice server.
I moved to Kansas from New Mexico in 2000 and have tried many different Mexican restaurants over the years and this place, hands down, serves the BEST food I have ever had since moving here. It took me back in time and reminded me of my grandmother’s home cooking ❤️ The family and staff who own/work there are amazing and friendly people. We drove over an hour to try this place and were not disappointed. We will definitely be going back and highly recommend this restaurant...
This is my first time going to the restaurant with my daughter.I've seen a lot of good reviews that people have posted on Facebook and wanted to try it out and our waiter Damien was Amazing. The food was amazing and I had a cozy atmosphere.
