We stopped at Pirates Cove because there’s a restaurant by the same name in Pass Christian, MS. The names are the only similarities.
Pirates Cove advertises breakfast on their sign and menu. They do not have breakfast anymore.
They have sandwiches and pizzas. Salads and sides.
The pizza is pretty good. The crust was a little doughy for me, but we ordered hand tossed and not thin. I take the blame. The toppings were good.
I tried to get a pulled pork potato. No more pulled pork either. It’s not served anymore.
I got a club potato. It was a microwaved-baked potato with some ham, pepperonis and Mozz cheese shreds plopped on it.
Minimal effort.
The surprise delight were the cinnamon stix. A small pizza crust, cinnamon sugar and icing. It was crispy on the edges and just the right crunch to softness in the middle.
The restaurant is crazy clean. It’s comfortable.
Service was super friendly and just doing the best they can with what they’ve got.
Cleanest restrooms in Arkansas.
So get a thin crust pizza, cinnamon stix and if you ever find yourself in Pass Christian MS get the shrimp po’boy and a root beer!!

Food is good, but customer service over the phone needs to be monitored because the customer can still hear what’s said in the background. My order today felt like an extreme inconvenience from disrespectful comments made in the background. I didn’t mind to wait the hour it was going to take, but I don’t want to do business with people that don’t want to make my order.

Calzones ordered thru drive through. No marinara, garlic butter on inside. We got marinara in and a dipping marinara. Live over an hour away. Will not be back, marinara tasted like out of a can, no seasonings. Won’t be back

Love the bologna all piled up with the fixings like I always order it. Said it three times on the phone order. Yes I called. No offer to fix it except maybe drive all the way back over there. I know there will be problems but not concerned about fixing it? 8$ got a piece of bologna

Used to pirates cove was quicker than now and serving portions are more reasonable. But now I can’t say the same. 1st off I want to start with a compliment that I do really enjoyed the service but then I got to the food and it was ok…. Prices are going up but I should be able to get the same portion of fries considering you guys are charging more. You should have the same portion that you used to but that isn’t the case. I get a lot less fries than used to with my hamburger and honestly that messes with me that I’m getting more for less. I do want to point out the wait time for pizzas. I am told it will be 15 minutes so I’m like okay sounds great. I get there they say it will be another 15 minutes so I was like okay I have patience. 20 minutes go by and it still hasn’t been completed. How long does it take to make a pizza??? Used to they made it quicker. The pizza is good it’s just these wait times are insane.

Absolutely horrible place to eat !! Won’t be going back ! We ordered a taco salad that the meat was cold out of the fridge pre cooked this was the nastiest thing I ever eat then to top that off they gave me pizza sauce rather than taco sauce . Had nothing but high school kids working

Rude workers, ordered pizza took over 40 mins. They said a big order came in of 12 pizzas and it would be 10 mins. I left to get gas took over 10 mins came back and they were still not done. Ive wasted 50 minutes waiting on pizza on my day off. Won't be back.

Waited 10 minutes to get a cup of coffee after reminding the waitress twice. It wasn't the worst Burger the old lady and I ever had but it was a close second to the worst
I don't understand why I ask for no bell pepper and get it anyway Tonight we ordered 3 7 inch pizzas, were told it would take 15 minutes, took an hour and the first pizzas they gave us were not ours, they took them back after they were in our vehicle with us, they should have thrown them away. One of the guys preparing food came out of the kitchen to fetch a tool of paper for the order printer, left his gloves on and continued touching food with his contaminated gloves

My parents live in Arkansas so I came to visit and I wanted to treat them to a meal. I’m so glad we found this place. The atmosphere was incredible and the food was just as good! We had an amazing dinner here. Definitely recommend and will be coming back next time I’m in town. We also had the pleasure of meeting the owner Glenn and he is just the coolest guy.
