Great view of the lake. Salad bar is very well stocked with everything you might want on it. The bacon wrapped meatloaf was amazing. This place is a get dessert to go. Dessert options are huge to choose from!

TOP SHELF FOOD!! Top shelf service! And definitely top shelf vibe! THE BEST SALMON I’ve had in AR & super fresh salad bar which is soooo refreshing & appreciated! Made from scratch to die for tartar sauce (so important & overlooked by almost all restaurants don’t get this at all☹️) & potato salad. This restaurant makes the extra effort to make absolutely delicious food AND create an atmosphere that is welcoming to all. Can’t wait to try Sunday brunch! Thanks to the ppl who have made this adorable bistro a real treat to visit?

We travel to this area every year in March and Janssen’s is always a planned visit. The food is always amazing. Tonight I had Chilean Sea Bass in a Beurre Blanc sauce. Cooked to perfection and a wonderful flavor.

It says on their website not to even ask about reservations. So we drove 45 minutes to get there, and they tell us that they are full and you can only get a table if we made a reservation, because it’s Valentine’s Day and that’s why they are accepting reservations. The problem with that is that it wasn’t even Valentine’s Day, Valentine’s Day was 3 days ago. It’s very frustrating that the website says not to even ask about reservations.
Had an amazing lunch today. Everything was excellent and the salad/soup bar was a great value add. Our server took such good care of us also. Don’t even get me started on the desserts-maybe the best chocolate and carrot cake I’ve had. All this plus a great view of the lake. Can’t wait to come back again.

Situated next to a high-speed roadway with a 55 MPH limit, the current setup presents clear risks. Pedestrians wander dangerously close to passing vehicles, customers dangerously reverse into traffic lanes, and hasty drivers pull out without caution, inviting potential accidents. Over the past year, I've personally observed several close calls, totaling at least 3-4 near accidents, all stemming from the reckless behavior of patrons seemingly oblivious to the fast-paced environment.Prioritizing safety over convenience is crucial, regardless of the establishment's history in its current spot. I would strongly advise considering measures such as reducing seating capacity to alleviate parking strain, advocating for a reduction in the speed limit in the vicinity if feasible, or exploring the possibility of relocating the restaurant to a more suitable location that meets its operational requirements. Until such changes are implemented, it remains a potential accident waiting to happen.
