Great food and friendly staff! Had a great breakfast last weekend. I thought it was the best fried steak I had ever had in a restaurant. It was thick and tender, cooked just right. Not thin and hard like most places!

Visiting town on a business trip with colleagues. The hotel breakfast was cut back to the basics due to Covid. We were recommended to visit Johnny B's if we wanted a full breakfast. This is a classical small town diner. Nothing fancy, but plenty of charm. We seated ourselves and were given menus. Not many choices, but all of the essentials were there. Drinks were served promptly. Service from the kitchen was a bit slow. The restaurant wasn't overly crowded, but it took about 20 minutes to cook up a few eggs, a waffle, and an omelet. But the food arrived hot and was very good. The sausage patties were especially good - normally dried out, these were tender and really good. I ordered my eggs over easy, and they came out a little crispy. It was apparent that they were cooked on a hot griddle - too hot for over easy. They were good, regardless. We went back again for our second morning and had a similar experience. The waitstaff were very friendly and took good care of us. We had hoped to return for dinner one night, but went elsewhere to spend MUCH more money. Next time in town, we'll be sure to try Johnny's for dinner.

This is a interesting diner option that serves American classics with some southern comfort dishes thrown in for good measure. It has a great atmosphere and good food. When you arrive they allow you to seat yourself so don't bother looking for a hostess just take a seat wherever there is room. I had the Johnny B burger which was so large I had trouble fitting the thing in my mouth. It was a large thick patty served with grilled onions on a bun with mayo, lettuce, tomato, and onion. It was served well done and tasted great. The fries were another story. They were natural cut but limp and greasy. I may go for their onion rings next time. But yeah the fries were not good. The soda here is served by the can which I think means no free refills but I didn't ask. You would probably be better off getting coffee, water, or tea. Total price for a soda, burger, and fries was about $9 minus tip. However the food was better than fast food and the diner atmosphere was great. Overall I was happy with the staff and the food. Next time I will skip the fries and maybe try some of that breakfast that's available all day. You can't beat a old diner and we need to support classics like Johnny Bs.

We regularly eat here after church on Sundays. They offer a wide variety of menu items at a reasonable price.

Absolutely the best food, especially the meat loaf, and always get your service with a smile. Whether you attend college there, work at the college, or just stop in to grab a Starbucks, you will always be treated like family.

I just loved this place. The waitresses were sweet. The were so kind to older couple dining there. And oh the food. Special of the day Cornish hen collard greens cornbread Lima beans cream potatoes. Oh and Sweet tea. This place is the best. Highly recommend.

You can't beat the Breakfast Special for $3.99! Two eggs, grits, toast, and bacon or sausage. Freshly made and cooked to order makes the best food! Here on business and not a lot to choose from but pleased with this choice!

My daughter went through the Licensed Practical Nursing Program, and she succeeded in getting a job right after she finished the program and passed her exam for licensing.

I had breakfast there while passing through town. Good service, food and ice tea. Will definitely recommend giving them a try

Convenient for staff and students who are hungry. However the selection on food was slim. It is a little pricey too. I saw chicken salad and chicken salad sandwich. I got a fruit cup that was 3 dollars. When I opened it to eat the top berry it had mold on it.

The breakfast here is great and is served all day! The biscuits and gravy are delicious and the bacon was crispy and tasty. We'll definitely be back.

Had breakfast at Johnny B's this morning and had the Ribeye Steak and Eggs with hash-browns. The atmosphere of this place is incredible and I will recommend this place for breakfast to anyone visiting the El Dorado area. Good stuff.
