Food is still the best we have! Staff is friendly as can be .whole alot better than the Griffen that the tax payers are keeping afloat

I take no joy leaving a negative review, given that the late owner was very friendly. But the last 2 visits, I had to send spoiled seafood back. The latest visit, even the manager exclaimed, “I thought it smelled funny.” They cooked another lobster tail, but had tossed the sides that came with the tainted order, and did not replace the sides with the replacement order. After we brought this second issue to their attention, they just dumped some cold sides into a to-go container, as they made it very clear they wanted to close early, because it was dead. (Probably from serving the community rotten seafood) I paid for our meal in it's entirety, but won't ever be going back. I'd rather go to Applebees, and as I've stated in other reviews, I loathe Applebees.

It was all right my lobster was a little dry but other than that it is not very close to the ocean anyway I understand

Over priced for the quality of food over cooked shrimp blan tasting fish didn't like the taste and won't be back!!!

We had pretty bad service.. the food was edible but nothing worth going to a pricey restaurant for.

Crab legs are always on point here. Hot crab dip is the best appetizer. Can't go wrong honestly with anything on the menu.

I had grilled and fried shrimp. Both were very good. Nice local place with delicious food!

We won't be back, lesson learned! It took half an hour just to order, then another half hour for a salad. Finally, after a longer wait...My two tiny lobster dinner was finally served over cooked and very tough to cut (with a steak knife) and rubbery to chew like gristle(baked hard with cayenne or paprika, not steamed?). And the seafood platter was a joke, small with very tiny(cut in half?) oysters that were fried too hard! Understaffed, not friendly, food not worth the price! It was my first time there, needless to say...come on Mel, step up your game!

We, a party of 6, arrived at 6pm. We were told they were out of several items on the menu. The reason was because of unexpected parties the nite before. This was understandable. Our food was good and the service was very good. I ordered blackened shrimp and it was delicious. Our waitress took pictures of our group and let us hang out till after closing. Of course, we tipped very graciously.
