I wasn’t even able to get a straw in my drink before our waiter *claire hooker* started the whole horrible experience with a rude statement because of resentment she has from drama over 10 years ago. *Not to mention she is the one who made out like a bandit* Physically she has grown as a person, but not mentally. We walked out and and paid for the drinks we didn’t even taste because of that. I wouldn’t have had a problem putting my money in her pockets once more, like old time sake. but the fact that I was a customer in that restaurant and haven’t seen her in over a decade to start a conversation off so uncouthly is absolutely a problem. However, I really hope she reaches her goals in recovery, because her personality still has yet to be rehabilitated. Do better Claire, we have hoped that you would by now.

I took my two kids there. We had a good time. The sushi and food were amazing. The service was just a little lacking, like I had to ask for small plates for the individuals. They were so quick and friendly. Busy for the middle of the afternoon.

Went today. I was getting up to leave when waitress finally rushed over for drink order. Placed order. Got food. Noodles taste like water. Very gummy. But I was still made to pay for it even though I did not eat it. Waitress threw bill on table and said pay up front. Won't go back. Terrible attitudes. I used to eat here 2 to 3 times a month.

Received soup with something that looked suspiciously like a bug in it, and then the head chef began yelling at the hostess, and kicked her.

This restaurant has very good, consistent food that is served efficiently by friendly folks. The building itself inside and out could really use some work to bring it up to the standard of the food. We recommend Yamato to others for the food quality and reasonable prices and hope soon they’ll be able to freshen up a bit.

The hibachi was mediocre, the sushi looked fantastic I should have went for that. The dumplings and the wontons were ok. Rice was short on flavor and their yum yum sauce tasted like cole slaw dressing. Our waitress was fantastic very helpful

I enjoy coming to eat here with my family, but charging someone $1 each for these with a to-go plate is insanity. This is entirely too small to charge $1 and in addition, you should GIVE at least 2 minimum per plate to go. Do better.
