Cool old ballroom ambiance!
It was a very pleasant brunch. The food was average, but the ambiance made up for it. They had a wonderful Santa. He was perfect for encouraging young children and made them feel at ease. The lobby was beautifully decorated, and the gingerbread model of the Cresant Hotel was amazing.
We had a tremendous brunch last Sunday.
The staff catered to our every whim.
The food was spectacular.
I had a fancy omelet made just the way I wanted and the omelet chef was a master.
They gave us real cream for our coffee, it is so much better.
My daughter and I spent a girl few days in Eureka Spring, at the Basin and decided to got to the Crystal Room for breakfast. It was truly awful. The service was nice, but the food was ice cold. There was hardly any food to choose from. I really looked forward to having breakfast in this beautiful room, it was truly a disappointment. We won’t be back.
Simply a wonderful experience all around. The food was delicious and the service great. Already planning another trip.
Their breakfast buffet is excellent. Wide selection of foods. The servers are very attentive and keep your coffee cup filled up.
Tried the breakfast buffet this morning. The omelettes, bacon, and potatoes were great. It is the baked goods that needs some attention. The service was good and it is a beautiful and unique setting. The cinnamon rolls were extremely dry and hard. It was as if they were frozen, and allowed to thaw out a week before serving. The biscuits were the same way. They were very hard as well. When trying to cut one, they just crumbled. Add gravy to the biscuit didn't help. I truly believe these are frozen items from a food service company. Why not bake them fresh in house and set yourself apart. Having said that, we will go back and try them one more time.
Great ambiance in this old hotel. Robert was a very good waiter. He kept our drinks full. The omelet bar was super. Wish they had mimosas available. Serves only 8am to 11am, so get there early. Limited parking for guests.
We ate breakfast here and it was really good. We had the buffet and had the guy fix us omelets. It was all delicious, service was good and the dining room is beautiful.
The atmosphere is lovely in this dining room. The high ceilings and chandeliers make it a great spot for a nice meal. The breakfast is great, dinner was just ok. Service is always good here, and we get to sit wherever we like when we have been there. We always choose close to the windows. Staff is very friendly. Prices are average and it always very clean. That's a big deal to me. I don't like seeing spilled food particles all over the floor.

Stopped by here for Sunday breakfast buffet, the food was plentiful and good, a bit above typical breakfast buffets. Service was good, but the real standout was the setting. A real piece of history, things look as if they haven't been touched too much, the historic architecture has been preserved, like stepping back in time. Enjoyed exploring the gardens and lobby of this old gem.
Our party of 4 had dinner tonight at La Cena. Our server, Blake, was great!!! We enjoyed our meals of appetizers, pork chop, Alfredo and carbonara. The ballroom was beautiful and the atmosphere was perfect! We didn't agee with the 18% charge but appreciated Blake informing us of it.
We were simply sight-seeing at the historic hotel and noticed that they offer a breakfast (sometimes a buffet) in the dining room and decided to return, since we enjoy the ambiance of the historic dining rooms. The Crystal in the Crescent also has hilltop views, and they are mindful to seat guests near the windows when tables are available there. We were told the best thing on the menu was the Mascarpone-Stuffed French Toast, even better than the Eggs Benedict, and it did not disappoint! The presentation was spectacular, like a sculpture the way the toast was gently twisted into a peak with smaller peaks of whipped cream and all sprinkled with bluberries and strawberry slices followed by a dusting of powdered sugar snow. Surprisingly, it was not overly sweet but just perfect with the brioche and the soft lightly sweetened mascarpone (think light cream cheese) mixing flavors with the berries and whipped cream. It looked huge but I was able to eat the entire thing without feeling stuffed. After the meal, be sure to wander through the historic hotel lobby and appreciate the fine woodwork and rare player piano and player organs. I would go again in a heartbeat if I lived close by, would beg to be taken there for my birthday breakfast every year. Don't miss it!
We ate here three times during our weekend stay at The Crescent Hotel. The first night, we had pasta which was simple but surpassed our expectations. Our server was wonderful but we didn't catch her name. The next day we had breakfast/brunch and Cena (hopefully I've spelled that correctly) was attentive and lovely all around. Our last day, we had breakfast again and Allison took great care of us as well. She kept our coffees fresh and full--great coffee, by the way. She was also kind, engaged, and professional. The tables were all set perfectly, everything was clean, all the food came out perfectly cooked and arranged. The French toast was my favorite meal but everything was delicious!
We went for breakfast. Had the buffet. Coffee cake and bacon were good. Waffles were moist. Breakfast Potatoes were soft. Biscuits were crumbly and seemed like they were microwaved from frozen. Gravy was good and coffee was excellent. Staff was ok. We had to get up and refill our coffee. There was only 2 tables dining. The dining room was gorgeous. We will not go back.
