I was treated to a Birthday Breakfast by a couple of my friends - it was served hot, fresh, and was delicious! I think what I had was called something like the "Farmer's Special" or similar. I will certainly return here next time I'm in the area!

I hate to write this because we love this hotel. But I feel like the jazz brunch was very poorly planned. Typically, brunch there is fantastic. Jazz brunch, not so much the buffet, was very limited. The only breakfast item they had was an omelet station. No eggs, potatoes, biscuits, gravy, etc. Instead, they had red beans and rice, andouille sausage, cousin, and prime rib. This was weird because given the price was 40 bucks vs 25, my group was expecting something similar to their brush offering as we had at Christmas time, plus additional jazz brunch-ish items. This was not the case, and we were left disappointed.

So I ate here because the original place I chose for breakfast was closed. I ordered the Farmhand Breakfast. My toast was hard and crusted all over the place. The eggs were dry (even though I request cooked easy) and flavorless. The bacon was a little hard. I wondered if they just put my stuff together off the buffet until I overhead staff say to another guest that the buffet was not open today. Overall it was edible and would do the trick but I'm on vacation and want more than just edible. My waiter was nice but I was a little grossed out when I could see his bare hands touching my food as he brought it to the table. I'm from Louisiana and so I appreciated the music, but this is not a restaurant we would want associated with the Crescent City.

Absolutely beautiful room and very pretty table settings. Food was just ok. I had an omelette from the station and my eggs still had runny whites. My husband ordered his eggs over medium and they were barely sunny side up. The bacon and sausage were average. Breakfast potatoes were frozen and deep fried, very oily. Our server was busy talking to guests at another table and never brought refills, or our ticket, until tables that came after us had already left. We were really looking forward to this meal as it was highly recommended, but I don't think we'll be back.

Allison was the best server. How can you not enjoy the ambiance of one of the most haunted hotels in the world?? I had the brunch buffet with a made to order omelet. It was delicious. The potatoes were typical of buffet potatoes, meh. My husband ordered eggs Benedict off the menu. It was worth the price.

I really wish I could say that this beautiful hotel and dining room matches the quality and taste of the food, but it does not. Ravioli came out swimming in what tasted like dish water. Pasta with red sauce had no flavor. I love the crescent hotel and the ambience but the food scares me away.

Food was fine. However, when presented with the check, the server had to explain that the 18% that was added to our tip was not gratuity. It was for the bus boy and host, etc. So unfortunate. I would have left a 20% tip for our server, However, the bill was already more than I had planned on. She was very nice but in a very difficult situation. She had to say the 18% was not gratuity when it clearly was, just not for her. At least that is what she said. I suppose she could have just come up with a story about it. Anyway, the 18% should not be added on as a surprise.
Simply a wonderful experience all around. The food was delicious and the service great. Already planning another trip.

We had an enjoyable dinner here. Enjoyed the staff and it was not crowded so the atmosphere was very peaceful and enjoyable. Food was pretty tasty, especially the calamari appetizer.
