We're locals and was in here Saturday. Food was okay, but after looking our receipt over as it seemed high, discovered we were charged just over $40(20%) for large party fee. It was only 6 adults! 6 drinks, 6 dinners! Love to support local but will not be going back! only place we've ever been considered a large party with 6 adults! We split the bill in half but both were identical. So almost $280 for a party of 6..completely not worth it!
We tried this place today for our first time. Awful. I ordered the chicken fried chicken and it took like 30 minutes and that was fine but my food was COLD, like the gravy had a film over it as it was that cold. Sent it back , 30 minutes later my husband had finished his meal. The server came back and was like oh my you never got your food. Portions was great but my dinner was not very good. Tables were small and crowded. Sweet tea tasted unsweet. Definitely looked better than it tasted. In fact, our stomachs didn’t feel very well after dinner. Took quite a while to get our food. Got meals for my two kids, husband and I and the bill was $96!!! Holy cow. Didn’t even get appetizers and it was that high! Also, the prices we got charged for our meals did not reflect the prices on the menu. won’t be back..
