I adore this place. Quiet, intimate, dark, beautifully decorated with purple drapes and fleur de lis, it is the epitome of my favorite lounge vibe. It feels like a hideout.

Best old fashioneds you'll find in 500 miles. They take real care with them, smoking, muddling. Good cocktails in general.The atmosphere is nice, too. Light jazz and blues, New Orleans decor, chill and never too busy.Dan was great the first time I went. Angela is good too. Really no gripes, a favorite stop when we're in town

Love this little bar and the decor is spot on. Our bartender for the evening was great, we had a good time talking drinks and trying new things. However, we ordered snacks to tide us over and what we received were most definitely not beignets. The mozzarella sticks were good, fun to see them served with ranch. Definitely stop in here for drinks, no disappointment there!

You will absolutely regret not going in and seeing Angela at The Voodoo Lounge at the New Orleans Hotel. This was the only place we visited twice during our 4 day trip and it's because of Angela and her amazing bartending skills and great conversations. She will also give some GREAT recommendations on places to eat! Terry the owner isn't half bad either.

Bartender Refused to serve me because he Claimed I was stumbling as soon as I walked in door. I am a disabled veteran who walkes with a limb from knee issues. Place looks cool but the bartender needs to work on his customer service. I will never go back again.
